www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65745978Been named Bundesliga player of the season. Fantastic achievement at the age of 19. I do hope he moves away from there eventually for his own development, Man City or Real Madrid potential options.

He’s going to Real Madrid I think? Yeah. Apparently he handed out farewell gifts to some of the Dortmund players and staff after the game on Saturday. He's definitely off

That's practically a lifetime in terms of transfer negotiations

Four of us went the recent Dortmund game against Gladbach. Dortmund fans absolutely love him, he's a massive fans favourite. I did think during the game why would anyone want too play anywhere else. The place and fans are fantastic. However it just seemed like he didn't need push himself, the standard isn't the best. He definitely needs a move away just too push himself and move his career forward

I imagine it’ll upset a few Dortmunders.

If I were advising him, I'd tell him to go to Citeh if they were genuinely in for him. A chance to work with arguably the best manager of all time whilst still in his developmental phase, with guaranteed trophies along the way seems like a no brainer to me. It also still paves the way for him to leave and go to Real Madrid in the future when he's in his peak years because Citeh don't desperately hang onto their players. If someone wants to leave, they're generally allowed to go.
But he'll sign for Real Madrid this summer.

Surely not in a game like that Difference in prize money v 200m? I think you might be surprised. They're not going to rest their best player in their biggest game for years having played him all season, whoever's in for him at whatever price, surely? Winning the league is about more than prize money?

Is he one of the best talents England has ever produced?
Still young, but his performance at the WC just gone was outstanding.
We've had players go to Real Madrid before, but not at such a young age. Feel like he's being lined up as the natural successor to Luka Modric.

Feel like he's being lined up as the natural successor to Luka Modric. I hope so. And I hope he's the first of many English players moving abroad and succeeding. We might then have a national team that really does know how to win things.

theathletic.com/4484624/2023/06/07/jude-bellingham-real-madrid-transfer-dortmund/Real Madrid have reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign Jude Bellingham. Madrid are set to pay Dortmund in excess of €100million (£86m; $107m) in what will be one of the highest-value transfers in the history of both clubs. The deal is not yet signed but that is among the formalities that will follow. Bellingham, 19, is expected to undergo a medical in the coming days. Ancelotti, meanwhile, has also told the club’s hierarchy he wants Tottenham Hotspur striker and Bellingham’s England team-mate Harry Kane at the club amid Karim Benzema’s departure to Al Ittihad of Saudi Arabia.

Would have been £150 million if he’d have gone to Man City. Great move for Bellingham.

Will Brum get a nice slice of that fee? £5m-£6m Blues stand to make. They've always contained good sell on clauses into their departing players deals. & with Bellingham known to be a future star they definitely wouldn't have messed around with the finer details of his transfer to Dortmund sell on clause.

Bellingham and Kane at Real Madrid could be interesting, and good in terms of a partnership for England.
