Noticed that he is creeping back onto Talk Sport, irrespective of what he said about the queen he should be banned for his banal cliche ridden co commentary

Lasted 2 weeks on the academy coaching staff at Stoke about 4 years ago before being kicked out.

Yep, it's clear they're definitely trying to edge him back in. First time I'd heard him back they'd sent him to cover, think it may have been West Ham in the away leg of one of their Europa Conference matches in some far flung country.
Definitely sounds a loose cannon judging by his previous outbursts and behaviour. Suppose Sky set the standard with allowing Carragher back on air after his spitting incident had subsided & he'd been off air for a time.
Absent for different reasons but making a possible steady return is Stan Collymore, he's been on air doing the score prediction feature with Hawksbee & Jacobs. May not lead to anything but I used to really like Collymore on Talksport & definitely wouldn't be against him having a more permanent return in some capacity.

Sinclair was on camera calling a police officer a white bastard when he was heavily involved in the let's kick racism out of football organisation.
The footage if you can find it in full wasn't pleasant.

“Banal, cliche ridden co-commentary”…..isn’t that a pre requisite for the job? Would love to see Stanley back,he’s always impressed me on the airwaves. As for that scouse oik Carragher,i cannot believe how quickly they let that thick fucker get back,he should have been sacked in the very sense of the word.Despicable behaviour.

Wasn't it Collymore's stance on the (then) new owners of Talk Sport that got him "terminated"? i.e. - their links to The Sun. Stan is proud of his links to Liverpool as an ex Player, as well as being on the fan's side of anything football related - so the whole JFT96 issue didn't sit well with him. I don't know if he said anything on air or if it was just his general stance that got his contract ended. I remember Colin Murray quit around the same time for the same reasons.

Yeah I believe it was something along those lines. Can't recall if Stan got fired due to his views or actually quit with the change of ownership. Not sure if things have simmered or he's just happy contributing to a small section as opposed to being on the payroll but was good to hear him back on there. Always remember Stans reaction to Crouch's super strike v Man City. I read an article the other day actually where Stan describes Crouch's goal as being in the top 5 of goals he's ever seen scored.. Did like Stan on Talksport, always felt his opinions were factual and meaningful. If he was covering us & said Stoke were crap after a game we invariably were! But he'd definitely praise us after a good performance aswell. Hadn't realised Colin Murray took a similar stance aswell.

This is how I remember it at the time : "Despite a popular and successful run with Talksport, Murray announced he would be leaving the station with his final show being on 2 September 2016. Murray's decision to leave was triggered by the purchase of Talksport by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, who in turn owns The Sun. Murray, a Liverpool fan, stated that he was concerned by the "inevitable closer association of the Station with the Sun newspaper". (Wikipedia). Despite Stan's "previous", he's always intelligent, fair and doesn't toe the usual ex-pro-turned-pundit line . He calls stuff out, especially if it's against the ordinary fans' interest. I think coming up via non-League and climbing the ladder also helped keep him grounded - as opposed to being immersed in a Premier League Academy from a young age. Re: his commentary on Crouchie's goal - was that "Oh My God!!"?

I'm happy to put you right later on another part of the oatcake, but in a nutshell you have that daft black woman during the kings coronation telling the BBC presenters that the royal balcony looks too white!! What do the BBC do, nod, smirk and basically agree. Can you imagine that being the other way around? Cancelled. British bashing corporation, slyTV, Sly news, C4, all biased and run by tossers.

That will be the BBC run by former Tory candidate and deputy chairman of a local Conservative Party.. the same BBC that decided to to air the King's coronation on every channel regardless of the fact that a decent percentage of the Country are not royalists and disagree with a monarchy that wield statutory powers? British Bashing Corporation? Hardly.

If there is a big news story in football, then very occasionally, about once a year, I type ... Simon Jordan, talksport ...into you tube .
At least his comments have a bit of balance , and are vaguely informed ( it's as if he is spent ten minutes reading up on what he is talking about!)
For the rest of the year I give talksport a miss .
Trevor Sinclair is spectacularly dull , so very easily done in his case .

Her royal balcony comments were racist.. if a white tv personality had said that their career would be over.. 2 more to add to the list Dianne Abbott. David Lammy - who I expect will be given one of the big 3 jobs when starmer becomes PM..Good luck people.
