what i wouldnt give for another FC Koln type weekend affair! that was just brilliant from start to finish it all seems a little anti climatic since then One of my favourite weekends period. And to think there was such a good feeling around the club at that point. Chanting the Muniesa song for an hour non stop after the game was incredible. Far too many good moments too mention really but getting a text from my old insider at the club telling me Shaqiri was signing, van ginkels cousin and mates at the Irish bar, the start of the muniesa song on the Friday night and the riot on the tram were highlights for me

O Reillys ran out of some ales. Some great songs and bemused locals. An arnautovic shirt ended up set on fire? And then there was the massive yellow duck that inevitably ended up going on a journey. Following Stoke abroad is like nothing else and id recommend to everyone But I hope they hurry up and announce a Saturday game asap so we can book flights. Part of me thinks it’s to keep numbers down

If there’s no game in Spain I will be bitterly disappointed They'll be on the plain. Any added time will be played on the mountain because, the game in Spain is mainly on the plain

Rough translation.
"We're taking the kids this year, under the guise of "One club, One Stoke" because we probably won't have enough new signings in the door to make up a team."
Full of shit. It'll be back to normal next year.

I thought what he said was reasonable, I think no matter what he says or does, some people will pick fault. Let's see what we do business wise in the window, if it's good, credit to him, if not he can rightly be criticised..

Let's see what we do business wise in the window, if it's good, credit to him, if not he can rightly be criticised.. That's fine but this club has gone unchecked for far too long and it's about time, in my opinion, that supporters started questioning everything that is said and done and finally hold their feet to the fire. If people don't want to do that, that's fine by me but I will continue to question everything they say and do until they prove to me they have capability and minerals to at least take this football club into the upper half of the Championship. I'm sorry, but a few buzz words and corporate bullshit does little to avert my suspicions.

www.stokecityfc.com/news/2023/june/08/potters-announce-additions-to-pre-season-programme/Stoke City have announced additional pre-season action at home and abroad, with Everton set to make the trip to the Potteries on Saturday, July 29 (3pm kick-off). As well as revealing their Premier League opponents for the pre-season programme’s final fixture, the Potters have confirmed that a match will take place on Saturday, July 15 during their camp on the Costa Blanca, with the identity of the opposition to be announced in due course. The Toffees, who secured their Premier League status on the final day of the 2022/23 season, are the fourth domestic fixture the Potters have confirmed for pre-season, with three away matches against EFL opposition previously announced, including trips to Notts County, Derby County and Burton Albion. Alex Neil’s squad travel to Spain on Monday, July 10, with the match arranged for the following Saturday, July 15, shortly before they return to the UK. The fixture will take place at the Estadio Camilo Cano in La Nucia, with kick-off at 6pm local time and spectators welcome to attend.

That the official site says that the opponents will be announced once their season is over - if we are discounting Citeh and Inter - sky sports remaining fixtures list twente vs Rotterdam (europa league playoff) and Verona vs spezia (relegation playoff) as the only remaining European fixtures not from a summer league…??

The reign in Spain will be mostly full of disdain.

Part of me thinks it’s to keep numbers down Following Stoke abroad is like nothing else and id recommend to everyone I went to preseason in Hamburg. It was superb as long as you were nowhere near Stoke fans. A fair few were an embarrasment, especially on the Hans-Albers-Pkatz on the Friday night. Similar experience in krakow last week with British lads on stag do's. Just horrendous to be around when abroad (not all the time obviously)

Moroccan league still running I believe As always our group will likely ( hopefully ) make our plans to avoid any chaos as far as possible .. that includes the Everton game for me 😀
