Liverpool's is out. A plain red t-shirt with a sponsors logo for over £100.....  Now I’m not that old in the grand scheme of things but I remember thinking “£30 for a football shirt?, fuck that”. You’d have to be mad to pay that for what is essentially about 9 months of wear! |

How the fuck can you justify that pricing? Being Nike, they’re probably being made in a sweat shop for pence as well. Not to disagree with anything you say, but being the "match" version I'm pretty sure it's a special edition of the shirt which is supposed to be more like the one the players wear or something? Seems to have become A Thing with shirts. They have extra little details and supposedly better technology or whatever. There'll be a bog-standard replica for the usual completely reasonable 70 quid... |

I noticed that Villa have a rather smart new badge to go onto their new kit, when it’s eventually released. I’m still waiting (or, rather, hoping) for a new badge on ours. I don’t like our badge it needs changing. I’d love to see one that was relevant to the area. Something like a huge kiln. Would give the kit some local identity rather than just red and white stripes. |

I'm going for green and black stripes, old kits have a habit of coming round every few years, this one is overdue That's also Aberystwyth Town's home kit, with black shorts and socks, its an exact photo negative of our home kit. One of my favourite away kits that, that and the purple |

Sad isn't it that drugs and poverty are the first things that come to mind when searching for inspiration from the local area.
Kilns and anything related to the pottery industry would be a bit fraudulent. It must be nearly 30 years since the industry went down the pan.

As far as a new crest is concerned the club have a fantastic opportunity to re design a crest in 2025, 100 years after becoming 'city'. They can market it as such.
A simple bottle kiln, or staffordshire knot would be ok with me, or they could just revert back to the shield from the city coat of arms.
One thing is certain, our current badge is dog shit

They look fantastic on the 70s/80s classic designs:  They can be ok on modern ones if the rest of the design is plain but most of they time they just get in the way and end up looking clumsy and cheap. I also don't think they really "suit" most club shirts tbh. Must be a nightmare if you're employed as a designer and you have that non-negotiable stipulation on everything you produce. |

My daughters boyfriend works in media and he's heard from someone "this is so cliched" and i hope they are fucking wrong that it looks similar like this but in red and white  ![]() Sheffield Wednesday have revealed their new Macron Home shirt at their play off winning event and it doesn't look to dissimilar to that Brighton top pictured. Wonder if ours will be a version of this in red & white of course. Macron aren't known for identikits so could be a play on this Sheff Weds design. Stoke used to be ahead of most Macron kit releases but Palace, Sheff Weds and a couple of lower league clubs have beaten us to it this year.. Attachment Deleted |

Someone had mentioned June 2nd as new kit release date but not sure if they were guessing or had been told it. |
