Leeds and Everton both have winnable games against teams who have nothing to play for, unless Spurs still think they can make Europe, Forest depends on what the Arsenal players are like after yesterdays defeat, and a winnable game, they look to making a fight of it.
I see Leicester and Leeds joining Southampton.

Unfortunately I can see "we all hate Leeds" escaping at the expense of Forest

I can remember Villa in the old 3rd division when I was a kid. You mean when footballers spent less time on their hair.

I would say it is indeed Andy Lochhead. Who curiously had very few locks on this head. I reckon he would make the starting XI in an all-time comb-over side. Bobby Charlton for sure. Ralph Coates ditto. Any others?

This is apparently the goal scored by Andy Lochhead that took Villa to the top of Division 3 over Bournemouth in front of 48,000, but why does he have 3 lumps of mud on his head, was it to hide a bad hair day?

The only way I can see leicester and soton failing to go back up immediately is if they appoint Gary Rowett and blow 60 million quid on a policy of ' let's sign good honest championship level British players, for even more money than we were spending on premier league players!...'

Pleased that Forest have stayed up as it means at least one out of Leeds and Everton will go down. Also shows that sometimes keeping faith with a manager and giving him some time can be a better option than sacking him at the first sign of trouble.

Leicester are gone, you can tell they're shot to pieces and have a bunch of players already planning their next move.
As for the other place, obviously lots depends on today but I wouldn't take Everton beating Bournemouth next week as a guarantee at all. I think Leeds have a good chance of winning 1 of these 2 games so I'd pick them to survive.

Slightly off topic but why were pre war records replaced as it were? Was it a respect thing for young men who never got to play or to honour those who were lost and retain the records they held? I remember an article from a fair while back about women’s football being very popular during world war 2 as most men went too fight
