Indeed he either gets fit or he’s a liability see Boro , Millwall , Bristol city goals conceded he spends to be stronger in the challenge and More mobile and then he can undoubtedly be a big asset and hopefully hes one of those that gets fit by playing but he was a way off 100% last season

Real shame. He looked like just the kind of player we needed to sign for Neils high press. Eustace beats Neil again quite concerning that players we clearly want choose elsewhere and we can hardly argue we were blowing out of the water financially , can’t compete on location etc

Just checked the Bristol goal and that was even less his fault as it was a missed placed pass out to the left wing. They never should have ended up scoring from there.

I did some analysis early doors last season relating to some of the fundamental mistakes that he made. I got absolutely crucified by some supporters and his relatives family. I hope he improves and has age on his side but some of the mistakes are non league level.

Blues have money in the bank and he had a great year there last year. They were always going to be his first choice. Very close to home for him too

I’m historically a panicker around windows but we need to wait till September before we can say how good or bad our window is.
From the rumours I’ve heard we’re targeting decent players and will be improved.

The only clear targets we lost have been Sterling and Simms and both were due to either too high wages or too high a fee. There are better options out there than Sanderson

He'll find any stick, no matter how big or small, to batter the club, Neil and Tricky Ricky with.

Targets are exactly that, players we are trying for. In this case it was a player going back to where he was last season, exactly as Pearson has, to a club with cash to spend. We could have upped our offer but we decided there is better value elsewhere. It’s how the real world works.

In this instance, even with our limited knowledge of deals on here, it was obvious Sanderson wanted to play for Eustace.
You'd think Stoke would have known that weeks ago and maybe that's where and when we turned our attention to the Turkish lad or elsewhere.
Yes, deals can go wrong and you never get all the players you want but the club need to be, and I would assume they are, wary of letting too many go and leaving us short.
Less of the attitude to our fellow posters also hey? I don't agree with everything Benji or other people post but they are entitled to post on here as long as they post within the rules. If you don't like it ignore it or block.

That is a little disappointing. However, Birmingham always looked like the favourites to sign him after he was there on loan. Similar to us and Pearson. I wonder who our Plan B is?

Bearing in mind we showed some interest in Grant in January, it is a little surprising that we have not gone back in. Obviously we have someone else in mind.

There are better options out there than Sanderson Birmingham fans rate the other CB they had on loan from Arsenal higher and he's up for sale I think at a similar price, Auston Trusty. We need to see who comes in at CB before we make a judgement. Can't say I'm bothered about Sanderson. He looks too similar in style to Wilmot to me. We need someone better in the air.
