Unfortunately as much as there have been previous mistakes with signings, this isn’t the fault of the Coates family. The club have been screwed with FFP. And as a club we are riding the coattails until this season is over. Right now it looks like we could be in the 3rd tier next season? But putting the whole blame on the owners isn’t fair (personal opinion). Is this worse when we got relegated with the leadership of Chic Bates, Chris Kamara & Alan Durban? It certain feels that way? But the finger points to what is going on the pitch, rather than the owners. FFP is the fault of the Coates family  They gave terrible managers too much money to spend and didn't have a plan for it. That’s debatable because that was Scholes & Cartwright who were spending the cash. You have to remember where this club was prior to the Coates coming back? Plus who would invest as much money into stoke than they have? I’m afraid we are the last club an Arabic would want to buy. |

Anyone would think we lost to a good team. Bonham though fuck me. If he can bring in a keeper and a forward at least in this someone, it would make a massive difference to get us to the summer. Has there been anybody that's played us off the pitch since AN came in, west brom away? Serious question I thought we were outplayed today, Burnley too. Anyone else? doesn't matter, Rotherham twice, PNE etc should have got more than we did. This league is full of shit teams, we are evidently below the majority. not good enough. |

You've got to be proper thick as pig shit to think taking the fucking knee has anything to do with the issues with club has. As always there's a middle ground with the ownership. The Coates Family, mainly Denise, has the funds to take us forward. However, Jon, funded by his sisters success at bet365, isn't fit to make footballing decisions at Stoke. We need a proper Director of Football in place to run the football side of things, whilst keeping the club funded by Denise. The issue there though is I don't trust Jon to make the right decision in terms of appointing the right person for the DoF position. I think what he’s meaning is it’s a dated exercise a bit like how they are running the club |

100% agree about the Ashley sentiment then we would be in real shit. They may have made mistakes, which bosses don't but they have tried to make amends, kept the club free from points deductions, held season ticket prices, free away travel, improved the ground and probably cant wait for the green light to start spending a build another team to be proud of, I really don't think people understand how crap life would be with a £1 millionaire in charge with no real money
