. We also need someone who is going to be able to hold off defenders like Batth and bring in other players. Tezgel looks like he could eventually be a player that would find space and do that. He’s not going to do it at present though. Batth was a CB He means a strong forward able to hold the ball up against defenders like Batth......

Makes sense to let Delap go if we can sign a decent, experienced CF as a replacement. If Brown, Gayle and Brown had shown the expected form then Delap would have been on the bench. Makes more sense to have Tezgel there.

Anyone else think he’s the real deal?
Showed a better touch than Brown, Campbell and Delap all season.
Won a competed flick on header type situation which Campbell and Brown never do (it’s not their game).
And looked stronger than the pair too.
I hope he gets more minutes.

It would be ideal if we could get to safety and then let him start the odd game. Coming in at such a young age to save us from the drop is a no go.

He’s clearly got much stronger and grown a bit since I last saw him (not surprising considering his age) but I can see a time coming soon where he will force his way in. Neil isn’t known for playing youngsters and he’s obviously a fan already.

On football manager, after Endrick, he's in the next group of most highly rated teenage forwards in the world. More highly rated than Delap, which looks fair. He won't be with us long once he's broken into the team

There was a moment where the ball dropped down he took it first time and played the difficult pass to open up the pitch and allow someone to play Tymon in (I think) At that point I knew.

A better touch than Brown and Campbell isn't great praise! Having said that I am very excited about him but we will need to get promoted in the next two seasons to have any chance of keeping hold of him.

For me Delap and Tezgel are very similar both have strengths and weaknesses but if by letting Delap go means that we can give our own talent the appropriate minutes when the time is right, I’m all for it. If Neil continues in this vein he’s got it spot on! Hopefully he’s a star for us for years to come, if not I hope he gains us a handsome transfer fee one day both outcomes are what success look like.

Stevenage next weekend would be an ideal game to give him his full debut.

On the screen he looked smaller/weaker than Delap so probably not the target man some have shouted for?
Thought he looked promising but too little to go off.
Love our youth products coming good so goarn lad.

I thought Tezgel looked a proper footballer who has got into the first team through his ability whereas Delap looks like a player who has got where he is through having a bigger, stronger physique than other boys of a similar age and still thinks he can bully defenders but finds it difficult to play that sort of game against seasoned professionals who give just as much back. Not saying he doesn't have ability but he needs to adapt his style to play against Championship defenders. Tezgel looks as if he uses his brain as much as his body. You could see him working out where the ball might fall and he seemed to know where team mates were going to be. He made a couple of great runs into space and one in particular he looked quite quick.

Nice touch, takes it in well and has his head up looking for a pass, doesn't give away possession. I know what he means, just glimpses but you can see good technical ability and the right movement

He’s a good prospect but when some fans are saying stuff like he won a lot more headers than Campbell and brown, brown and Campbell both won quite a few headers today and have done for the last few months, what’s the need to bring other players down to hype up a 17 year old, Campbell and brown both scored where’s Tezgel did not (not knocking the lad, very good player for his age and wasn’t on the pitch too long) but he also wasn’t chasing stuff down just like Campbell doesn’t because that’s not the strikers job I’d prefer a lazy striker who saves his energy for attacking and getting goals and assists, Campbell, brown and Gayle all ran there bollocks off today. A couple of lads in front of me were calling brown and ty fat bastards all game and we’re the first to celebrate when they both scored, cut them some slack.

I don’t think they did today and they definitely haven’t over the season. Brown is pathetic for flick ons, Campbell marginally less pathetic. Which makes we wonder why we even bother with it as a tactic.

He must have done a fair bit in stoppage time because by time I left on 89 mins he hadn’t touched the ball He touched the ball three times in his 9 minutes (inc injury time) cameo. I think people are just a bit giddy from the result. He needs time and most importantly patience from everyone.
