big wide pitch would suit him If he can come learn how to hold off a challenge more, he’ll be a much better asset next season.

Which begs the question Bayern....what the chuff do they coach during the week because it isn't working! How to take a throw-in? ...that would be a great place to start, preferably forward as well. As well as, how to move when a throw-in is being taken? 2 areas that have been neglected, amongst others of course. The single most frustrating thing for me is when the thrower launches the ball in such a way that it will bounce and then be more difficult to quickly get under control by the recipient. Throw it to their fucking feet so they can either pass it first time or control it easily!

In keeping with our decline, we have gone from having the most potent throw in the history of football to the point where us having a throw is a free play for the opposition.

Frustrating really. The lad has clear talent yet we persist with the same old plodders week in week out. Surely deserves a chance as does young tezgel One of Stokes most sincere players, his pace and ability to feed into the box is second to none, he is old enough and has the ability to be a first choice player, if I were him I would be talking to grandad for touting contacts for a move.

Couldn't comment on why he's not getting a game more often but one thing he can do when on song is take on his man and beat him. We don't have enough players prepared to or capable of doing that imo.

It’s a year ago today(Sunday) since he got MOTM in the win at Hull on the box and at that point I thought we had a real player on our hands🤔WTF has happened behind the scenes since then for him to not appear in a Matchday squad very often is anyone’s guess but with the current set of incumbents not producing the goods then surely he could be given a go again? Maybe I’m straw clutching but there’s got to be a turnaround in players/fortunes or we’re going to be in the mire

He would benefit dramatically from running on to loose balls. As would Gayle, Campbell and Brown. To me, not passing the ball into striker’s feet would be a huge turning point.

It makes me weep how many times the ball goes into our front 2 and they either lose control, or get "eased" off the ball. It's criminal it really is.

It’s almost as if their strengths all lay elsewhere. MON recruited too many similar players and AN has tried his best to play them in a different position each week.

I thought that was a decent watch at the time. Are you suggesting he became “ Billy big time”? That was a year ago, he'd just scored against Fulham after as you say the Hull game. He then flitted between starts (6) and subs notching up 500mins last season. This season 7 subs and total minutes 59. 30 of those were under AN and 29 under MON . So it wasn't the change of manager that saw the decline in minutes. His last game was in October, since then 2 unused subs and 8 not in squad. No idea if it's attitude mate. But with dad and granddad both PL success stories maybe the pressure to follow in family footsteps is affecting him? Point being the 'decline' set in under MON and a new manager hasn't changed that.

His dropping under MON was stupid as are the blatant lies from the current manager about having no wingers.
He should be in and around the squad.

He has something not many of our team don't have and that's football intelligence. I just don't get why Neil has completely frozen him out? At least he made every matchday squad under MON (albeit he was underused), to not even get 20 minutes at Hartlepool was weird.........
