Brown didn’t shit out of a challenge several times that match though 😂 Brown did nothing. Doesn’t win anything in the air. Is weak as piss and is just terrible. Campbell got in behind a few times at least. Was awful second half with the rest of them. Brown is next level shite though. He is a shockingly bad footballer.

Why the obsession with biscuit legs.. he's had 0 impact on any game he's come off the bench for... if he can't beat smallbone into the first 11 he's got a problem. Because, on his day, played in the correct position, he's one of the best in the league and one who can create chances Let me know when his day is...between his injuries.

Preston have lost their last three...We all know what happens tomorrow 😂 They have struggled at home all season....can you imagine that... There away loss was WBA who are flying so I'd expect a different PNE performance tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised if they got something from there game.

Playing the under 23s is a great call . I’ve often thought the same thing You mean like when we played the kids in that Mickey Mouse cup thing at the Vale and it was like men against boys and we lost 4-0. Sounds like a great idea.

4-2–3-1 still makes the most sense to me.
Bonham
Clarke Souttar Wilmot Tymon
Thompson Laurent
Campbell Powell Fosu
Delap
No way he’s going to drop Baker though, so maybe him in for Thompson or something. And I wouldn’t play Clarke at RB if there’s anyone else fit.

Seems like the players do not give a fig as to what happens this season. Some of them probably want out, and/or, will be moved on in the next four weeks. This season is over for us. All the club can do now is to use the transfer window as a spring cleaning exercise. Preston could well be AN's last match in charge. I'd be much surprised if management will allow AN to throw more money to add to the current squad numbers. Probably depends on how many players are leaving.

Im hoping to break a duck tomorrow as I've not personally seen Stoke win since we beat blackpool in August 2022. The other 7 wins I've missed due to work, illness, not attending an away game due to other commitments or holidays. Must be due one in 2023.

As long as Clarke doesn’t start we have a chance. We can do without his 50 pence head and total lack of ability to defend properly. This is the highest level he’s ever played at and will ever play at in my view, a total calamity for us.

To be honest I'm more concerned about the way we play than the starting 11. We really need to stop going long all the time and play to feet - our midfield can play if they get the ball and the long ball tactic is just taking them out of the game. Also if we do play 3 up front the wide players need to tuck in - when we have played 3 up front they have been too wide and deep leaving the central striker isolated.

Not playing Fox is a help. A pity Sterling isn’t fit as he offers a lot. You’d expect Kilkenny might get some time but if he’s going back (can he?), then that might not happen.

Because, on his day, played in the correct position, he's one of the best in the league and one who can create chances He’s our best attacking player and I still think he’s our best player overall. He should play. Problem is how does a manager ever know when they are going to get the likes of Powell and Campbell " on their day" consistency is the key to a good side and those two struggle with that despite the talent by both being mentally flimsy. Probably worth a punt in this squad due to lack of options but long term need moving on , mind you nearly this squad needs moving on before we are going to have a decent side again .

AN has to throw 11 turds into a box, shake it about, then hope 11 gold nuggets come tumbling out.

Do you genuinely think our owners are going to get rid of Neil? Look at their previous form. There's more chance of him walking and that's unlikely as he'd be giving up a massive wedge.

John Coates has just allowed AN appoint a couple of old mates as 'Director of Football' and 'Assistant Manager' I can't imagine we are about to hoof him in to touch. Things would have to get much worse, say we hit bottom 3. Mind you we are only 4 points off bottom 3 so I suppose anything is possible. He would be another expensive sacking, we'd have to not only get rid of him but presumably his retinue of high cost new hires as well.
