It's all a bit Meh, when the only thing we have to discuss on the transfer thread is Helicopter movements. There's absolutely nothing out there, no links, no speculation, in fact as Bjork used to say - it's oh so quiet  Yes, and we all know what that means with this club. None of the apples will drop and we’ll end up panicking in the last couple of days of the window and buy yet more dross! |

I certainly think that our helicopter would be bigger than West Brom's. And if Forest can fly to Blackpool, why can't we fly to Newcastle! |

Must admit I’m getting impatient for some transfer news, either in or out. The situation is getting desperate and whilst there is probably stuff going on behind the scenes, there doesn’t seem any urgency to address the dire situation we find ourselves in. Massive couple of weeks ahead. Two weeks that could potentially define the next decade. Bursik and Delap have only just left, it doesn't take you long to get impatient does it 😂😉 Exactly what my wife says! 😂 |

We have one more league game before the window closes. We don't shape the market but have to react once the big clubs have done their business. No point making panic moves |

He's made no first team appearances as I can see (Wiki) and is in their under 21s. Is this likely? Another young player with little experience in a first team? 70-odd games on loan? You never know. Played 40 for Doncaster last season...and got relegated from league 1 |

I was thinking about this earlier. If the FFP situation dramatically improves next season, is there scope to do 2-3 loans with mandatory purchases over the summer now? Iversen in particular? It's as clear as mud what this better FFP situation will actually allow us to spend even next summer though. Are we talking £5m? £10m? Or just pushing the boat out on better frees? Thats a shout try now pay later Yeah but I don't like the mandatory word. |

Wood scored double figures in 4 out of his 5 seasons with Burnley. For what we need he’d be fantastic. Not that we have any chance of getting him, think Hugill is still more in our territory so I hope some bright spark behind the scenes has cottoned onto that. |
