If the transfer window in Scotland closes at 12.00, would that mean that if we had lined up a striker from a Sottish Club, then we could still complete the deal after 11.00?

Recall reading somewhere that his own mother quit watching him play earlier in his career, he was such a bastard. Now THAT would be more like it! Gives us til Summer to review prison-rosters for possible backups. Problem is if he signs for us he will get a red every time he plays I am sick of this "nice" spineless shit way that we tend to play defense that even if he gets a red in the first game I don't care. Somebody has to take up the slack and stop opposing teams from dancing through our middle or lobbing the ball over it. The red cards are why we need to recruit an even more insane backup, possibly 2. Just rotate them in and out. This whole "Love Island" method of playing football isn't getting us anywhere but walked on. Right now, our only counter is to press offensively (which I like too) but you have to have some sort of toll booth out there for when they get the ball. Since when has anybody in this team had a red anyway? (Not that I look forward to them but ffs guys do we care enough to stop people?) |

I was told earlier that we were sorting out permanent deals for a defender and a midfielder and a forward on loan so something has changed if the defenders a loan deal.

Why loan someone who isn't fit?
I get signing them at a discount in the hope that they come good but we're only going to have Tuanzebe for 4 months and he could be missing the first 3 or 4 games

Got to say I think its a huge mistake to let Souttar go with a player that is in rehab on loan coming in
We have Wilmot, 40 year old Jagielka and unfit Tuenzebe as our only centre halves. A couple of injuries and we are deep in the shit
Decisions like this can get you relegation

Is it possible to do a medical over a Zoom call!? Pearson would do well to get from Bournemouth to Stoke in 45 minutes. I understand that players can be signed " subject to passing a medical" They don't need to be tbf there are medical facilities all over the world never mind England. |

So we are probably have half an eye on signing him up in the summer. He will be a terrific signing if (and it is a big if) we can get him fit and firing. |
