Nothing deluded he has played central defence before. He was clearly brought in to replace Clarke, as Neil stated. He's come to a club who if they fail to bring anyone else in are going to be pretty strapped at the back. I'm sure he'll play wherever he's needed on the day. If he's worse than Fox I'll be fucking amazed. |

Goose egg omelette filled with Bishops Finger cheese, sheep’s heart, tongue, sautéed in aspic sprouts and kale covered in a thick curry sauce with mushy peas to crown it. That’s good Fuck it Oatcakes bacon cheese mushrooms fried goose egg baked beans and brown sauce and a knob of butter on the top That’s ok but you missed out fried savoy cabbage , beef olives and refried beans with sour cream. And another fried egg. |

Something is surely happening, my Niece who works at Tesco Trent Vale has just served someone with loads of Sandwiches/Nibbles etc, she asked where’s the party and the woman explained she works for Stoke and had been asked to drop them off at CW, she was actually panicking as the gateaux might not defrost in time. Has any of this been reported on SKY or in other media? If not its probably just gossip.  It’s true, I’ve text my niece and she even told me that the woman couldn’t read the small print on the packaging for defrosting purposes on the cakes and my niece read it out to her. |

But clearly hasn't come here as one. Not sure what he's come here as. Assume it will be ad hoc to do what he's told otherwise he won't get anywhere near the bench and there won't be any financial downside if he doesn't. From ANs interview it's clear he's come in to play on the right, even mentioned him being capable of pushing further forward. If Sturridge stays fit then I don't expect to see much of him tbh. |

I know it's naive but I expected three today. We're running out of time to get 3 players in over 4 hours. Medicals, negotiations etc. Not even a credible rumour really. All the players named this morning have gone quiet. No sightings at CW. Just a gateaux defrosting with nobody there to eat it. Yes but there’s still time (apparently) 🙄 |

It would be nice to get a replacement CB in especially given the injury to Taylor, especially if it were Ronnie Edwards or similar. Wouldn’t be a disaster if not given the league position, think we can make do for the rest of the season, not ideal I know. Prefer to wait until the summer to make the right decision instead of a few hours remaining in a volatile window
