"Something is surely happening, my Niece who works at Tesco Trent Vale has just served someone with loads of Sandwiches/Nibbles etc, she asked where’s the party and the woman explained she works for Stoke and had been asked to drop them off at CW, she was actually panicking as the gateaux might not defrost in time." Doesn't look good from a planning perspective. You'd think that the backroom staff would have had their food order for tonight well sorted before hand. Just because a lot of Oatie posters criticized the Clayton Wood Pizza tradition as being so last century, it must have thrown them. Maybe the transfer team just don't like criticism.  And if they are having Gateaux it suggests that there will be no icing on the cake to come later. |

Still no confirmation of Souttar deal? Either the medical is causing concern. Or We are being cute and asking Leicester to make no announcement until we have secured our targets Or Make up your own answers here…… Think we’re probably not sanctioning it until we know we have someone to replace him. We just don’t have the centre backs to sell him and get no one in. This If we can’t get a replacement in, then Fuck Off. You had all of January to sort it out. To send the agreeable offer on the last day is bollocks. Unless of course we have had a verbal agreement for a while, and it depends on our targets. Meaning we may have them sorted. |

We’ve brought in a goalkeeper with shot stopping %s similar to Bursik, a right sided defender with attitude problems and a 10 (that I’m actually happy about). We haven’t addressed the defensive position (left side), nor defensive midfield, nor target man. The goalkeeper seems questionable based on his inability to stop shots, but it’s okay, because he can pass a ball. If anything, keeping Souttar is a negative as we need the money to rebuild. |

He can hope but sometimes it doesn't work out for whatever reason, we don't have loads to spend without the Souttar sale so it was never a given there'd be more. I'd rather no one than to panic and end up with players that are useless. Saying all that, it could just be a case of final paper work before they're announced, plenty of time yet. |

Desperate for a keeper and brought one in that was raved about last season winning player of the season along the way, signed a good attacking option that has the type of ability the squad is hugely lacking and a punt on a freebie back up that was promising enough to be on Liverpool's books at one point. Rebuilds rarely happen in Jan and who knows maybe Souttar can be a part of it next season if our FFP situation is better even with him staying. |
