Not confident at all and am convinced we're going into the break rooted in the bottom 3. Can't see a way out of this unless we can get some players in the building in January that suit Neil's way of playing, which again is just crazy. Sick of seeing us appoint managers then desperately limping to the transfer windows in the hope the new manager can pull a few of his own rabbits out of a hat.

Could be the best possible time to play them if Jones moves/on the brink of moving.
Could be the worst possible time to play them if Jones stays and the whole club is galvanised even further.

Bold/probably ruinous choice by Southampton.

I can see the fans starting to turn if we lose Tuesday, especially as Jones is in charge of Luton. Jones might not be. Surely Southampton aren't that stupid

Does this help or hinder with the Jones situation. Either way, I have every confidence we will fuck it up 😂

Jones's performance at Stoke doesn't seem to have hindered him in the slightest if he is being considered by Southampton. Why is that?
Is it because everyone outside of Stoke knows we are a basket case of a club where even good managers are bound to fail?
You would think his performance here was a massive red flag but seemingly not.
Anyway I hope he fails spectacularly if he gets it.
I wonder if Luton fans would forgive him again.

We are crap when we try to keep possession. I would ask Flint and souttar to protect the posts. If in doubt kick it out or up the pitch. Other players breaking up luton Play. Ask Delap to wait up front for the ball. More of a target striker. His positioning is a skill he is working towards improving We have players who can pass. It knowing when to pass or kick the ball up field.. Rely on set play.To try and score.

He sort of has to really given he’s off to the WC. He needs to test himself sooner rather than later.

I've already resigned myself to the fact that we're going to be playing in League 1 next season. So any win is a bonus and twice as sweet.

Got to play Brown and Powell Baker Fosu We shouldn't be too concerned about playing the Luton Town's of this league. But we are because we have a league 1 defence

As we know we are screwed the moment we concede, so we may as well go balls in for scoring first. Much rather this and see our chances increase rather than wait for the slow, painful and inevitable defeat after letting the opposition score.
If we end up conceding early as a result of pushing forward then at least it leaves us with a good 80 minutes or so to use productively in the rest of the evening, e.g do the dishes, take the bins out, get stuff ready for work tomorrow etc.
