So turns out the only people the cenotaph needed protecting from was the very people who claimed to want to protect it. They're not the sharpest tools in the box these far right goons are they? From the side you read from you would say that, I've seen videos showing differently |

Over 300,000 people marched for a ceasefire today and caused very little trouble. A few hundred came out to cause trouble, of which a 100 were arrested and many engaged in attacking police at multiple locations. Don't try and equate those marching for a ceasefire to be the same as drunken thugs coming out to cause trouble and fight. They're not the same. Only one side had a majority intent on causing trouble. |

I’ve got no problem with people calling out the thuggery earlier in the day in the group that Tommy Robinson was part of, it was shameful and completely unnecessary.
What is very annoying is that on social media I’m seeing lefty and after lefty happy to call out the above but saying absolutely nothing about the many racist and anti-Semitic slogans etc that were part of the march that they are all very proud of having attended.
It’s utter bullshit.

If some asshole wants to fight another, then do the right thing, square up and go 1-1. Of course, that would risk you getting your ass kicked from time to time, which is why it is NEVER done. Instead, you just get endless cases like this where a group find someone to pick on until a bigger group comes by, then they stand jumping back and forth pretending like they are going to throw down and gradually walk away telling their mates how amazing they are.
