Bursik Clarke Wilmot Taylor Sterling Thompson Laurent Baker DWP Delap/Gayle Campbell This is on the assumptions that A) Tymon isn't fit B) Powell isn't fit C) Thompson is fit This. Basically as long as we have a back four that don’t play the ball backwards all day I’ll be happy.

Has to be a back 4.
We simply don’t create enough chances to play with a back 5.

Bayern Dave F Cheadle Potter Crewe Oatcake Werrington Cobham Stokie Old Stokie Malcolm Clarke Nello (C) Cockney Ted Garry Hacket And that Lot could not do any worse than that shower that I watched this afternoon!!!!! What an honour though i’m right footed so you’d need to switch me with Malcolm though I’d be happy playing anywhere to don the red and white stripes. If you want a left winger I’d go with Wonderstuff or Huddy

Whatever the line up is, and at least half yesterday's side could have no argument if dropped, looking for a reaction

We are too weak in key areas to go to these kind of places and get a result. Central defence and goalkeeper options at the moment are pitifully poor.

Whatever the line up is, and at least half yesterday's side could have no argument if dropped, looking for a reaction We miss a genuine DM so we could play 4 at the back. Though I’m not a huge fan Thompson’s the best we have. Hopefully he’ll be back for the weekend once he’s served his concussion protocol. I wonder when Souttar’s back he’d make a huge difference.

Bursik Clarke Wilmot Flint Fox Thompson Laurent Baker Campbell Delap Gayle I'd go for that but play DWP wide left in place of Gayle or Delap. Something like ---------Bursik------- Clarke Flint Wilmot Fox ---Laurent--Thompson---- Campbell-Baker------DWP ---------Delap---------- Like that but would put Sterling in fir fox give him a run of games.

Id go with a 4-3-3 which I see the vast majority would go along with. Most important thing is a back 4.
For me Fox is just about passable at left back, so it would be ----------Bursik Sterling- Clarke- Wilmot- Fox Baker- Laurent- Thompson Campbell- Delap- DWP

I would play almost anyone at left back in place of Fox. I would play Clarke-Taylor-Wilmot-Sterling across the back four. I could just about stomach Laurent for another go alongside Thompson sitting in. But not much creativity in that side. Campbell, Delap and WP are going to have to work hard to create chances for themselves.

I'll find it very hard to watch another game all season if it's another 3 at the fucking back. Especially that 3.
Sick to the back teeth of it.

I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t go with a back 5. We might as well kiss goodbye to points now, we’ve got no chance if we don’t go for it by playing 4-3-3

Not arsed who partners Wilmot tbh Honestly mate it was joke defending at it's worst. Wilmot was poor but he looked like Maldini compared to the other two. He is a left back in fairness but a poor one. There was a point in the second half where he got drawn out to our left corner trying to shield the ball out of play and just got muscled out of it and then had to foul the Watford player to stop him running off with the ball into the box. That wasn't the only one. I think you blamed Sterling (or at least questioned his positioning) for the first but have a look to see if you can see where our left centre back is when the ball is delivered because I can't see him anywhere in the shot? And add to that I don't think he passed the ball to a Stoke player all afternoon, although he wasn't alone in that respect and I lost count of the number of times he was closed down before he could clear the ball. He's slow in mind and body. I just think he's gash and we should try anyone but him.

DWP and Campbell wide? Or Fosu? Try DWP and Campbell. Can’t be worse than what we’re churning out at the moment. Campbell standing still on a wing, making one run and then collapsing to the floor in a heap of exhaustion would be worse than what we saw on Sunday, in my opinion. Fosu looks faster, looks fitter and looks like he wants to take his man on.

.........................Bursik........................ .........Taylor..........Flint.......Wilmot............ Clarke..................Thompson..............Sterling .................Laurent........Baker................. Campbell.................Gayle........ ..........Fosu... Subs: Bonham, Fox, Jags, Smallbone, Delap. Who else is fit to play? A lot of people here give Delap high ratings after every game, but I must admit I prefer Brown up top instead. A lot of you know I've not been Jacob's biggest fan either, but to me Delap looks very ordinary and without a nose for goals. I like this for 2 reasons: 1. You really make a point about Brown, but don’t pick him. 2. Your team has got 12 men. Brown is injured, but after the Watford game I really think we need to add another player. 11 don't seem to be enough after that game, and we look more balanced with 12 as well!

I can just about justify keeping Wilmot in the side because he’s done well recently but Flint and Fox shouldn’t be playing.
If we moved to a 4 at the back formation we haven’t got a decent LB or proper wingers so it makes less sense than playing 3 at the back to me.
Bursik - not really at fault for any of the goals yesterday
Taylor Jagielka Wilmot
Fosu Baker Laurent Wright-Philips (as a 10 offers the same physicality as Smallbone which is 0) Sterling
Delap Gayle
