Keep playing like that and 20,000 will soon become 25,000 and we can really start motoring again. Stoke fans respond to their side playing with tempo, aggression and attacking intent. If AN can provide that then he’s going to light the blue touch paper.

Yesterday was the first time since about 2016 that I felt we got our team back and, just as importantly, we got our crowd noise back.

That performance and tempo, from the off, set the tone.
That’s what we want to see. Front foot football and fighting for every ball.
The sight of Laurent punching the air after winning a tackle, and then high fives from teammates afterwards might seem a little thing, but I was a noticeable difference.
As a result the crowd respond.
As a group of fans- if we see the team fighting for every ball, see evidence of good team spirit and play attacking football then the place will be routinely rocking.
The standard has been set.
