My Mrs just called me as she’s there and Springsteen is on with Macca. I love Bruce by the way… Dave Grohl too ...

He’s brilliant for his age I agree but for me his song choices so far could have been a hell of a lot better with the back catalogue he has I think we can forgive an eighty year old legendary musician for choosing songs he's comfortable with.

He's managed to universally choose all my least favourite Beatles songs but I have enjoyed every second of his set worth it for the Abbey road segment alone

I do think Live And Let Die holds up against some of his very best Beatles songs.

What's people's thoughts on the Idles? I watched a bit of their set last night and coincidentally the last time they played Glasto and find them fascinating to say the least! Can't bloody understand a single word of any of their songs mind!! I absolutely adore IDLES. Funnily enough I had never heard of them until I saw them at Glastonbury in 2019. Watched them on the other stage Friday night and watched the secret set they did yesterday on the BBC introducing stage. They absolutely smashed it on Friday night. I’m lucky enough that I have got to know Joe Talbot since discovering them and I had catch up with him at Glastonbury on Friday about 2 hours before he took the stage. Man you could see the adrenaline pumping through him then and what was about to come. Foals smashed it on Friday too

Been listening to some Ryan Star recently and heard he was awesome.
We used to get a really good show (BBC?) of old Glastonburys salted away on an obscure channel and usually about 5 years ago.
Always fun to discover a new fave band and then find they split up yonks back.

Anyone got any thoughts on Black Midi
Just watched their set and it’s bloody bonkers - sort of Dead Kennedy’s if they moved over to Jazz.

So McCartney is going to be the first (and only?) act that they're not going to stream live, even though the press in the last hour have been reporting that they will ... Been plenty only allowing highlights, Bowie, Springsteen and REM come to mind. Don’t blame the bbc it’s up to the artist and their management what gets played.
BBC admit it was their decision ...

My children made me listen to the Olivia Rodrigo LP on a recent family holiday, so she’s not completely new to me. Not a lot to see here though you can certainly tell she has an Irish mother. A tight group and performance for ones so young. I hope when she is older her songs with life experiences get a wider range. Just seen The Beeb decided to omit the guesting Lily Allen from the Olivia Rodrigo set, speaking out about the Supreme Court decision on abortion and singing F*** You, pity really cuz its quite apt and they looked like they quite enjoyed it

Megan Thee Stallion made the same stand during her headline set last night, not sure if the BBC have cut it also.

Wasn't a fan of Olivia Rodrigo tbh. Band were good though.
Jack White is the TBC on the Park stage at 18.15 if anyone's arsed. George Ezra is the TBC in the JP tent if anyone's got shit taste in music.

At 19 and being a mainstream pop artist, to name all the judges individually was a quite a brave thing to do. Really sad that the BBC have pulled it. Don't get me started on George Ezra, good grief, what is that all about?
