Don’t get the encouragement for guessing games. It’s random. We’ll play everyone home and away. Does it matter when? Does to me I need to look what games I’ll miss. 3 before Christmas which is pretty acceptable, World Cup has done me a bit of a favour there. Can now book flights to miss minimum games second half of the season.

Watford away last match, great fixture
Surprised Blackpool away is a Saturday but is February March looks a tough month but who the fuck knows, they could turn out to be easy whilst sides we currently think of as easy turn out to be tough

So it’s a 19 home game league season for me a bit like being in the prem NOT.

why do we always plays Swansea midweek? I'm pretty sure that teams put prefered choices for midweek/weekend games, everyone wants the games that will attract the most home/away fans to be on the Saturday, and the games that don't exactly set the pulses racing & will have a small away following to be midweek. (Obviously everyone can't get their way for every game).

You can guarantee that lots will be moved for tv and other reasons.

When I was younger and could only really manage to get to home games I used to hate fixture release day when we had away fixtures on 1st match, My Birthday, Boxing Day, & then last match of season!
Guess as I'm older I'm still a tad disappointed especially as do love a Boxing Day home match, but isn't the end of the world!

Tricky end to the season if we are in a relegation battle. Not daring to hope for the playoffs. I’ve found it is better being pessimistic as a Stoke fan and then you are rarely disappointed.

Yeah I think that sums up the mentality of a lot of our support. Personally I'd rather hope for the best possible outcome and deal with the disappointment. You'd rather not dare to hope for the play offs, I'd find them quite underwhelming. Takes all sorts.
