Never watched this lad play, or heard of him before last week, but I am happy that Stoke are continuing the trend of bringing in younger players with potential.
Who knows if this lad will go straight back to Arsenal at the end of the season. if it works out for him here, he may stay thereafter (its a big leap from the Championship to top 6 Premier League).
Welcome aboard Harry Clarke.
Does anyone know if he's more of a wing back or full back?

Who is the other lad running with him in this video, around 23 secs in? Another signing to be announced?

Has anyone ever said it's a dream to play in the Championship before? Seems a decent signing though (I like how we're gradually adding more pace), and maybe compared to the Scottish Premiership, it is a dream to play in the Championship.

Put it this way, were Hibs in the Championship they’d find themselves in Division One by Christmas

What I don't understand is why are most going potty over this guy but seem dead against giving our own a go such as Forester, whats the difference? One difference is experience. Clarke has over 60 first team appearances in the English and Scottish Leagues (not too bad for a 21 year old) so he has quite possibly got an advantage over our Academy products in that respect. A decent season in a lower league for Forrester and he will possibly be better equipped to force his way into the first team squad. It is easy to underestimate the difference a reasonable spell in lower league football makes to a player. I remember seeing Souttar play at Morecambe (Checkatrade trophy?) for us a few years ago. You could tell he had potential but he was far from ready for regular games for the first team - and I was not the only Stokie who felt that - indeed some thought he would not make the grade for Stoke. Seeing him play for us after a couple of seasons at Fleetwood was like chalk and cheese. So zero games in the Champ then
