We are desperate for a right back, so I hope this one works out despite being very raw.

a good signing on paper MoN reminds me more and more of the rolling stones song ... You Can't always get what you want ! ( but if you try , you may get what you need )
He is bringing down the wage bill , getting rid of the heavy situation, of lots of experienced players on long term big money contracts , getting more youngsters and more pace in the team ... all what we NEED
But what we WANT is a manager , who is a top motivator , gets the best out of the players every week ( not when they feel like it ) , a good tactician who gets the players to follow his plan to cause the opposition problems( proactive rather than reactive) and a good game manager , who knows when to make the change and what change to make
He is what we NEED but is he what we WANT?
I 50 % love MoN and 50% think he has to go !
okay ! if you really force me , i am 51% sure he has to go

Why not be optimistic? If MON has learnt lessons and is getting the right players in that we need then why not look forward to the season ahead. Not to stick up for hyaduck, but not sure mindless optimism is any more useful than mindless pessimism tbh. I agree with that mate but think we are strengthening the areas we need to or seem to be so don't think it hurts to have a little optimism for the new season.

It's definitely encouraging that we're targeting the areas that need targeting and the players themselves (or two of them at least) sound like they could be just what we need. We needed to do that just to stand still (in lower mid-table) though and I just hope we have a clear plan on how to use them.

One of these years, we're going to hit it right! A toast to this "Being the year!"

Ofcourse that is the biggest question whether MON uses the new signings correctly and whether they click here, hopefully it all clicks into place.

The new right back then Who’d have thought Arsenal loaning us a player🤔 The least they can do after they stole Bould and Dixon from us.

He may have a Masters in some sports related topic or other, but he doesn’t have any experience in the role. If we are to go with that direction of club structure, we need someone who has the experience to lead the club forward. It will be a very lonely job as I can’t see the Coates’ family having any ideas on what to do.

Loan with the option to buy, if we do well and go up.

It will require a redistribution of wealth for this to change Shan't hold my breath

The manager got slaughtered for not attending the U23 play off game As has been evidenced he was watching Clarke play for Hibs The criticism wasn't warranted or valid given the manager and his record with our youngsters. He doesn't need to watch a match in isolation to learn what he probably already knows, especially when he was out scouting for first team players.

And this deal could spell one of said younger players unnecessarily being shipped out on loan if he’s coming to play as a CB 🤦♂️ I just hope he’s coming as a right back.

Forrester and Taylor are both going out on loan and rightly so.
