If Maja goes to Cardiff then we simply weren't in for him again. Not sure On that one the story goes “ we are in for bale and Ramsey who’ll,provide the bullets , real, signs of our ambition ,” true or not it’s not a uncompetitive logic

Not sure how disappointing that would be. Losing out on Rinomota to also not be pinning our hopes on Maja as our main striker target could be a positive balance for me. Yeah, neither would mortify me - and it could be anyone, even if the story's true. I'd be surprised if Cardiff could beat us to any deal we wanted, given the way their local paper was talking up their financial woes and looking at the bargain bin they've shopped in so far this summer The only thing with Rinomhota would be if he feared a lack of games here with Baker, Laurent and Powell already here. But I'd be amazed if they got Maja with MON wanting him, unless he really didn't enjoy his 6 months here Lest we forget he took some supporter stick here so it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if he chose elsewhere

If The Rhino signs it points to a midfield three of ........Rhino........ ..Laurent.....Baker.. Looks good does that.

I'd be surprised if they could get Maja (and they may not even be in for him) Although it's hard to square all this budget shopping with the alleged interest in Ramsey and Bale, unless they're willing to play for peanuts for sentimental reasons

I think another striker and a keeper and be a decent window

Has anyone seen Rhino play? Can't say I remember seeing him play, do we think he'll be a good fit for Stoke?

www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/cardiff-city-transfer-news-reading-24304236Cardiff hope to complete two signings before the end of the week, it is understood. The Bluebirds have made a blistering start to the transfer window, bringing in eight players and we are not even in July yet. Well, they are showing no sign of slowing up, either, with the club keen to push through two more permanent signings before the end of the week. At time of writing, it should be said, neither of these are understood to be Gareth Bale, who is still considering his many options. Bale's agent has told WalesOnline the Wales captain will make his decision over the coming days, with Cardiff well and truly in the mix. But there are two other players Cardiff are keen to secure before the end of the week and it is understood they are both permanent signatures, which would take the Bluebirds' business up to 10 new signings, however there is work to be done on both. Whether the aforementioned Rinomhota is one of the two is as yet unknown.

Mail journo says he's going to Cardiff Cardiff going for it. In numbers, definitely! But this is the first one where I've thought he looked a decent purchase, and I think this will be their 9th (8 frees and a £40k gamble from non-league)

Personally think Cardiffs business so far has been average at best. This would be a good signing for them, I do wonder about his fitness though, he had two big injuries last season. Doughty vibes.

Could be geographical if he lives east of Reading, towards Swindon way. Especially if the wage offer wasn't ground breaking from us. Would make sense if Bristol City were in for him too.

Think reuniting with Laurent a factor in him not coming Stoke.
