Any concrete evidence we’re after this guy or is it just paper talk, all sounds too good to be true, holding midfielder with pace and power,

You had to “ stay out of the black and keep in the red, because there’s nothing in this game for two in a bed “ lovely, look at what you’ve won, a fucking speedboat ! A Corby trouser press Caravan.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Josh Laurent is also out of contract this summer. Snap both of them up? I've checked and he is indeed out of contract. Decent player at this level, surprised nobody has snapped him up yet?

We were linked with Laurent when he went to Reading. I’d prefer Rinomhota of the two as he offers more of what we need.
Laurent wouldn’t play ahead of Baker and signing them both would almost definitely give MON the excuse not to play a bonafide 10 in Powell, Mario or DWP.

Depending on the formation we are going with next season, I’d like to see DWP loaned out. If we are playing 3-5-2, then his options are limited to central striker, which means he isn’t getting much game time here in a pretty crucial year for him.

www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/bristol-city-stoke-qpr-cardiff-7245209Bristol City’s interest in Andy Rinomhota is cooling, Bristol Live understands, with the out-of-contract Reading midfielder considering offers from Stoke City, QPR and Cardiff City plus the Royals. But Cardiff and QPR have made competitive offers to join Stoke in the race, with the Potters having already signed his midfield cohort Josh Laurent, and given the financial restrictions the Royals are working under, it seems a challenge for them to keep hold of him.

I'd be slightly happier with the one we were linked with from Portugal but also like the sound of Rhino. Don't recall seeing either play but energy and physicality is what we needed and both of them and Laurent seem to provide that.

Don't know that that's how MON would play it I think he'd be back to his flat 3 with poorly defined roles trying to be all fluid. That's why I'd prefer the guy from Portugal who's a proper sitter even though I don't recall seeing any of them play.

Both old firm teams want Allen Would either pay more than Swansea? The bloke is a muli millionaire surely if he wants to be in Wales it would be worth taking a hit on the wages. Nice small holding on the Gower for the chucks, no commuting. Better than Stoke or Glasgow any day.

I'd be a bit surprised if Cardiff could outmuscle us for Rinomohta, given their local paper said they'd have one of the lowest budgets in the division (although not sure how that fits in with this Bale thing?) - but quite a few of their fans are suggesting him and Maja as 2 of the potential names if this supposed double deal comes to fruition.
That'd shake up our target list.

Losing out on Rinomota to also not be pinning our hopes on Maja as our main striker target could be a positive balance for me.

Yeah, neither would mortify me - and it could be anyone, even if the story's true. I'd be surprised if Cardiff could beat us to any deal we wanted, given the way their local paper was talking up their financial woes and looking at the bargain bin they've shopped in so far this summer The only thing with Rinomhota would be if he feared a lack of games here with Baker, Laurent and Powell already here. But I'd be amazed if they got Maja with MON wanting him, unless he really didn't enjoy his 6 months here
