Hi. Anybody know in the area where i can purchase some kiln dried oak logs. I need slow burning kiln dried hardwood logs. Resent price increase's are making logs expensive' like most things. I've used this company for years. Good quality logs with a good range of different types Delivery is excellent if you have good access to your property www.logsforsale.co.uk/product/2m3-crate/

Happy to recommend these Waggy. Used them last year, a 1.2m3 sack lasted from October to March. I just had a 1.6m3 sack delivered last week. www.certainlywood.co.uk/Are you incinerating what's left of Domingo?

I use these for my elderly Mum. She has a small log burning stove, so length of logs is very important and they cut all their logs to between 8 & 10 inches, so we get no waste. (Splitting logs is easy but cutting to length is a pain (and hard work)). It says they deliver to kerb-side, but we never have any problems in getting the pallet delivered down the drive. The bonus is that the pallet etc. can be cut and chopped to and will make enough kindling to last the year.

The other half is insisting she wants a log burner, spent a pretty penny on a feature fire place in the living room and I’ve flatly refused to change it to a working fireplace.
Option is a small rustic type log burner up against a kitchen wall but you’re looking at close to £4500 for which is basically a heater for a kitchen and a feature.
