The wheels really fell off of his bus after the injury he got whilst on international duty. Pity, he was brilliant before that.

Sad to see his career take a downward trajectory. Hopefully he'll revitalise himself somewhere else.
Always liked Butland. He seems like a genuinely good dude.

With Berahino also available this could be the perfect time to get the band back together.

He should have gone abroad, I'd still do that if I were him it's not too late to resurrect his career......

MLS may be an option for him?
Failing that, looks like the Champo
Big money days probably over now though, unless a run of games somewhere sees him back to his 2016 form

Bournemouth or Fulham would be good moves for him.

Bournemouth or Fulham would be good moves for him. Can't see any interest at that level to even be a No.2 though. Bournemouth are supposedly happy with their young keeper, but want someone good with the ball to compete with him. I think he needs to go somewhere to play most weeks. And that's got to be the Championship in this country, you'd think? Maybe a return to Birmingham? But that'd mean a humongous wage cut. But that's what it'd take to start playing regular football again maybe

He'd need to take a hefty drop in salary.......

Let's see what he can line up for him.. think it'll have to be the Champo - or something more exotic

Shame for him as he was finally getting a run of games near the end of the season. Got to be gutting to go from starting to now being third choice. Seems logical that they’d try and get some cash for him as Guaita’s value at 35 is pretty minimal (plus he’s a much better keeper).

Watford would be an ideal move.
Foster released. Bachmann linked with United today.

If Bursik was sold, would we welcome Butland back on Championship terms?

I seem to remember him going there and becoming a laughing stock for the amount of clangers he was dropping, then joined West Ham and was awful, did nothing at Burnley and now plays in Scotland.

You need to add "knows the club inside out" to that quote for it to work.
