Bought back a few memories that one. Franny Lee had diving in the box off to a tee and also perfected the art of being tripped on the half way line and landing in the box (perhaps a little exaggerated but it always seemed that way). Others have since copied but never bettered. My earliest memory of cheating at it's very worst. With today's diving rules I doubt he would have finished any games at all. Mind you that's assuming he wasn't getting sent off for swinging the right hook. Very brave to try it on with Norman" BITES YER LEGS" Hunter though.

In the 1971–72 season, Lee set a British record for the number of penalties scored in a season, with 15 of his 35 goals scored from the penalty spot. Many of the penalties resulted from "fouls" on Lee.
