Good.
(in fact, very good and good respectively, especially if we can keep both out of the treatment room.)

Well if Vrancic is staying, hopefully we don’t also try to bring in Sawyers. Let’s try to create some balance for a change, especially with Allen gone. Great news r.e. Powell. Vrancic hopefully will get used more frequently as a sub. He’s a good player but he ran out of steam quickly last season and lost form after his injury.

Anyways, this is still good news re Powell and Vrancic.

Vrancic wasn't even picked when fit over the 2nd half of last season, and Powell's bones are made of Weetabix.
More of the same next season then.

Excellent news re Powell.
Annoying re Vrancic as I think we could do better but not the end of the world.
Now to sort out a longer contract for Powell.

Would have preferred Vrancic to leave tbh.

Would probably have been inclined to let Vrancic move on but terrific news about Powell.

Potentially good with Powell. Fully fit, he could make or break the season for us. A younger Vrancic could have done the same, but give Nick 70 mins and Mario 20. Don't play them together unless we are very desperate, like goals behind kind of situation.

It’s good news regarding Powell but the only worry is that if the team is doing crap coming out of the Christmas period he will be open to sign a pre-contract with anyone and walk for free in the summer.

Suppose thats the double edge of the option. Great news re Powell, but we're stuck with Vrancic who struggled to last the pace this last season.

Disappointing for me.
We need hungry young players looking to build their careers, not 2 journey men "only here for the beer" and winding down their careers.
If you keep doing what you are doing, you keep getting what your getting - a mid table position.

I reckon Vranic will still leave, probably triggered the extension.

Wouldn’t have been too fussed had we not extended Vrancic but we’d have been crazy not to extend Powell’s.
We also played by the far the best football when they were both fit last season. I’m just praying that Powell can stay fit now.

I also think that if we can get close to a full season out of him, we won't be stuck in mid table.

I would really fucking love Powelly to be a firm fixture in our team next year, ruffling feathers, scoring goals, playing passes, winning free kicks and generally pissing off the opposition. He's such an influential component in our team when he plays and it's felt like he's hardly been part of it for ages.

More good work Stoke. Happy to have Vrancic for next season as a squad player and Powell is a no brainer obviously. I don’t think Sawyers will stay now with also having DWP as an option there. Energetic shithouse required pronto though

Great news re Powell but works have preferred us to have Sawyers back over Vrancic (if that becomes an option)

Stop being pedantic, why would I want a “donkey who just kicks people”?😉

Powell is obviously great news. Not sure about Vrancic- he's 33 and his form took a downturn after Christmas. Might be alright coming off the bench and filling in for Powell when needed, but you wouldn't want him starting too many games.
