Thats bloody awful Joma suck ass The club I coach at have had it for the last few years until this season when we moved to Puma and honestly the quality of the Joma gear is head and shoulders above Puma. Some of the less fashionable brands are really going for it whilst some of big players are just getting lazy.......

Some of the less fashionable brands are really going for it whilst some of big players are just getting lazy....... Yeah agree with this. I purchased a Joma Valencia tracky top as a memento from our visit there in the Europa & its been a great top. Definitely agree that the big makes are getting lazy, greedy at the same time. For all the complaints people may have put Macrons way I actually can't fault their efforts in design and they at least try to make clubs kits exclusive to each club they produce for. & I have to put my hands up and admit I was abit gutted when we first signed up to Macron, I'd of much preferred one of the usual players in kit manufacturing at the time. Whereas the Adidas, Nike & Puma's etc seem happy to copy templates with simply colour & badge changes, Macron seem to be growing as a brand & proving themselves as a genuine contender in the kit producing rankings. Palace switching back from Puma to Macron could be an example of this. Castore seem to be emerging aswell although the prices are their products are eye watering. My brothers a Villa fan and for a zip up Villa Castore Hoodie training top they are charging £80!! £15 more than the equivalent spec England Cricket top of the same product just a different colour is! Crazy!

I suppose with the bigger brands you tend to get 'off the peg' stuff where the smaller brands are making more bespoke designs for their clients. Quite like the Plymouth kits, mind.

No 'Macron' branding on the rear of tops again, cheapskates 😉🤣! Appreciate some may prefer the rear of the tops to be plain but for authenticity and to make them proper training tops, they should put the 'Macron' back on the rear like they used to!

It isn't hideous but it certainly doesn't look like a Southampton home shirt. If a team plays in stripes it should play in stripes - I don't regard a single wide red stripe as being a striped shirt. I think it looks exactly like a Southampton shirt, they do some horrible zany take on red and white stripes almost every year

They've had plenty of shirts without stripes though. Perhaps it's only us that get our knickers in a twist over it. Nah I’ve got a big Saints fan mate and he tears his hair out at how much they piss about with the stripes
