FFS, it's gonna cost me more in the club shop than on Russian gas at this rate.
Bastards Stoke !

The two away shirts are excellent.
The home shirt is fine - plenty of good qualities but a little let down by the lack of stripes on the sleeves and the silly cross hatching on the red stripes.

Well crumbs, a slick, well-managed launch of three beautifully-designed and almost universally popular kits. Can’t wait to see how great we look in them as we struggle to create any chances and concede the only goal of the game in the 76th minute at home against Reading

I would imagine for legal reasons we will have to wear a change kit in x amount of games. Legal reasons? Contractual reasons then? Whatever you want to term it, every team will be required to where away kits x amount of times, otherwise it can be classed as ripping the fans off, by saying we have such and such a kit, and term it a kit, rather than training gear or whatever, and then never where it. In my opinion you where you home kit at home every game, and you should where your away kit away from home where possible

I like all the kits and this really doesn’t matter but our official club badge will still be the one with the blue details? Seems a bit odd from marketing perspective.

I was shocked to see England play ever Euros game in the white kit but have noticed since we’ve been wearing the blue kit at Wembley.

People were scoffing last year at the folk who were having a go at the club but it matters. If it didn’t marketing wouldn’t be a thing.

Again I like the 3rd kit too
However, with the cost of living crisis I think they should have made this seasons green 2nd strip next seasons 3rds. That way people will still have an up to date kit for the 22/23 season if they bought the green one
I appreciate that most will only buy one top or none whatsoever but a lot of fans and in particular the young ones (like my son) will be pulling on my arm for a new top and at 50 quid it’s a dear do

Certainly a big step up from Macron this time around. Credit where it's due. Macron could only do it with the input from Stoke, all the little nods to the past. So a massive well done to STOKE and Macron. Perhaps this is s sign of things to come. Are we finally getting our act together?

They aren't stripes though. Surely they’re pretty much striped stripes; therefore stripy and some of the most stripiest stripes out there. Stripes cancel each other out

So the only things that make it different to every shirt we've ever had (apart from the pinstripes) are the things that let it down?

Noticed a few international sides wearing away kits at home. Is it some new directive? Possibly but I think it’s just to do with making sure both kits are worn enough. Obviously the ‘home’ kit gets a bit more wear than the change kit. There also seemed to be a time where a lot of countries change kit was white and if that’s still the case I guess things have to be mixed up a little. As for my opinion, I much prefer the England change kit to be red/white/red. And as for our kits for next season I’m very pleased and hope the white and black kits are worn whenever they can be away from home.

Things have been shite for a long time on and off the pitch. Can you not bring yourself to go give some credit when it's due? I despair of some Stoke fans.

From a branding/design perspective, a lot of clubs have gone the same way that brand logos have in the past 10 years… simplification and streamlining from overly elaborate badges/logos with multiple colours/gradients. (Doing it now is potentially a bit late in the game) It stems from trend changes but also web design/TV graphics etc where having an easily applicable silhouette logo allows for less chaotic brand positioning and consistency. See Liverpool / Utd / Juve etc The blue may stay as ‘official’ badge but more recently and with this strip launch I’d be happy to bet that there’s gonna be more marketing output that shows a one colour silhouette. Ironically - design and the next gen have now moved back into early 90s/80s trends so give it 10-15 years and will catch up and reintroduce the blues/multi colour gradients.

Stoke have input on all kits and all training kits. That blue and yellow training kit monstrosity from two years ago? That was of our doing.

Another very good one.
Home kit: 1/10
Away kit: 9.5/10
Third kit: 9/10
Average: 6.5/10. Not bad.

A lot of branding nowadays has certainly moved into one colour and simplicity in design. Pringles changed their logo, Discord, Burberry etc… Limited colourways and simple design. For what it’s worth, the current Stoke badge is certainly simplistic but it looks so much better with the new colourways than with the blue, red and white. I think as you say, trends change and what we had in the blue will no doubt be the ‘in thing’ in 10-15 years or so. I think it’s just nice to see that we finally have caught up in this regard it seems. Well played to the club and to Macron on these new kits because they’ve done an excellent job. I can’t rave on about them enough.

It's a Sunday League top don't you know?! 😉🤣
