Just been Niğde (large donner, chips, can of Pepsi) and Mehmet behind the counter says all this new kit speculation is exactly that; speculation. New kit is 100% sponsored by Longton's premier kebabery and manufactured by Bukta. You heard it here first. I love a Nigde steak kebab. But I’m sad to report, it may have been beaten in my tier list by Piccolos Pizza and their steak kebab. I had one last month, and it was fucking mint. I apologise for my blasphemy I may have bestowed. Nidge to be main shirt sponsor, Piccolos to sponsor the sleeves, New Tingles were in line for the sleeves sponsor but sadly had to close

(I’ve no idea if Noshers still exists after only going to Nidge with tunnel vision on my most recent suares to LA)

I got bought the Cov home tracksuit for some bizarre reason by my parents (assume it was cheap) - It was also fucking hideous
Anyone remember the Bourne Sports fire sale ? I also got bought stuff from that (including a Derby away shirt which stunk of smoke) - Whilst I was always a Stoke supporter in those days people did where other teams shirts to play nogger in usually on the basis they couldnt afford a new Stoke one or they werent readily available.

To be fair I’m partial to a random football top. Recent additions for me have been galatasary, South Korea, New Zealand, Roma the last one without a sponsor

My ex GF worked there. She had a bizarre collection of shirts for working out in. I think she used to help herself to shirts in storage. Have to admit was a bit distracted by her playing badminton in a Parma shirt once. She had Senegal, USA, Columbia, Marseille....some great shirts. She got our Broxap home shirt sample (without sponsor) from the company rep on the promise she showed no one until released a few weeks later which she of course wore to the next home game.

Been one of out biggest ever sellers according to the club shop so maybe not so bad. Do like light blue though Never in a million years. It is the most vomit inducing football kit I’ve ever seen from any club. Well others obviously thought otherwise

I'd say back in the day anyone from Biddulph and Kidsgrove knew someone who worked at Lowes in Congleton could have a new top all the time although I only ever had a Rangers one.

Maybe the same one Lowes were a manufacturer, they produced shirts under licence I think for quite a few football clubs and many tops would find there way out of the factory by lets say unusual means.

My mate Ray's Mum used to make shirts for a company. Originally Bukta then up that way. Maybe the same crowd. Was a small shop in Congleton had some good kits. As a few have mentioned the Coventry one, clearly remember them having that and several Admiral including NASL. I had the orange Detroit Express which like most Admiral shirts weren't made for warmer weather. Tampa Bay was the find of them all for me. A great shirt

Was £3 or similar instead of about £12 at the time .
