100k Stoke in Cork I’ve heard. All staying in the Jury’s Inn. That buffet breakfast will be chaos……

Thinking of driving over… 8 hours one way!! Can’t wait for this one! Hotels seem pricey but will be totally worth it!

Balls I'm in France and will miss Stoke playing in our second city. For anyone interested there is a good greyhound track in Cork City for the Friday night. Co

I’m aware of the games at Cork , Accrington and Bristol R
However , is there anyone genuinely ITK or who has genuine contacts at the club , be it players or staff members who know of any other games , … even just dates would be a huge help ..or when further information is expected to be released.
Im currently trying to arrange my mums funeral and affairs and wish to avoid a clash of dates in what is already a full calendar for myself and family due to a variety of factors.
I understand contracts may still to be completed etc .and any further information may be subject to change or commercial confidence , however if anyone can help but would prefer not to post could you please send me a private message ..I assure you any information received will be treated in the strictest confidence and used only as prescribed above
PS I’ve sent an email to the SLO who is out of the office until tomorrow
Thanks

Could really do with knowing where as I’m over in uk for the first time in 3 years and trying to sort out itinerary. Let me know if you get any response to your email please!

Our plans for the last week in June are dates I’m particularly try to find info on ..which is the week before they go to Ireland , so they may still be training at Clayton Woods , or if playing ..behind closed doors Im hoping as it’s only 2 wks before they report back and kit launches have been done , so understandably didn’t want other news taking the focus off them ..that news released sooner rather than later now Edit : Hearts will play Preston away on July 20th

My advice on pre-season games (especially thinking about the possible trips that are likely). First of all, Cork will be brilliant I am sure. The issue with that trip is that it’s early in the preseason calendar, so don’t expect a first team or any gauge of fitness from who ever is selected - still a good trip though. The main preseason game typically takes place 1 week before the season eg Cologne, Hamburg (twice), Leipzig and Duisburg. That’s weekend of 23rd July. Hearts has been mentioned, if it were to happen, that’s when it would be. This is the fixture that most fans travel to as will be as close to the proper starting 11 as poss, and closer to real fitness levels. So good luck to the Cork travellers, and to those looking at the games still to be announced, this is the weekend I would be betting on for the “big” one. Hope this helps.

Strongly advice anyone going to friendlies, even the ones at the end close to the season starting, to take hardly any notice of results, line ups performance or any of that stuff It's not completely meaningless but not far off. Go for the trip Cork should be excellent

Cork will almost certainly be a first team match squad match as they’ll of been back three weeks earlier It’ll probably be a match where 20 of the squad will be used and will gradually build it up over the following weeks IMO of course

Go for the trip Cork should be excellent Does anyone actually take any of the results/performances seriously during pre-season? No, the result is worthless. Always good to see any new faces get a run out though (if they are on board by then). It’s mainly a trip for the fans to enjoy and for the players to get sharper.

Go for the trip Cork should be excellent Does anyone actually take any of the results/performances seriously during pre-season? BLimey theres loads of numpties on here who do that very thing..... If we only beat Hanley Town by 4-0 its, "fuckin wank Stoke', "thats it - we're down", "whose that usless shitbag wearing ( insert ANY number)" "Sack the board" and numerous others. So, a good barometer then !
