I'm sure there's someone on here who can confirm how many times we chopped and changed last season. It's not conducive to good relationships with the defence who are bad enough as it is.

Had a decent game yesterday but I didn’t like his cocky turning to the fans one bit. We were a bit out of order with the ironic jeer but I thought his reaction was quite unprofessional and showed a bit of disconnect between the fans and players? I'd have to disagree. The jeering wouldn't have helped one bit, so the side turn and smirk towards us was justified IMHO. Show's he's got a backbone. He also hasn't been very good.

The guy is young and still got years of development to come.
He's played one match so far this season and saved us from a 4-0 drubbing.
Get off his back!

we really need to consider if he has the ability to be a keeper who can get us into the top 6 at this stage in his career and I dont think he is ready just yet. May be- but I don’t think O’Neill has the ability to motivate, pick and set up a team to get us anywhere near the play offs. I’d start with him first. and there is the problem, maybe under a different manager Bursik would shine. Oh we so tactically inept on Saturday!

Nothing tactical in his inability to get down quickly enough at times and be beaten way too easily by shots he should be saving. The proof is in his performances, not the fact he's an U21 keeper (means little), young etc, MON. Just excuses. At this moment in time we need better.

Bursik was superb yet again on Saturday.
Without him we would have conceded more.
For a player who will reach his peak in about 12 years time, it is frightening how good he already is.

The dilemma for me he has less than one year left on his contract. I don’t know whether we have offered a new one or not but it seems he isn’t signing and prepared to run it down?

He was doing what he was instructed. Which was the wrong tactic but he was doing as told. His response wasn’t cocky more along the lines of “what do you want me to do?” He played well.

I’m not sure he’s good enough at the moment. I also agree with the idea of not dropping your keeper after every bad game, that just stops the building of confidence, but I’d rather stick with Bonham or bring more experience in and loan Joe out. he played well enough in Saturday, he stays in the team given that And this is why IMO we’re stuck with MON, a few good games and all’s good, not forgetting that 90% of the time he’s crap. Bursik was abysmal for a vast majority of last season and rightfully dropped, for the record I thought Bursiks positioning for their first goal was poor, too far across to his right and didn’t attempt to centralise himself.

Hopefully he has a great season, but I have my doubts

Works both ways...so called supporters getting on a 20 year olds back in the first 20 mins of a new season for not wanting to go short to the likes of flint who turns like the titanic is beyond moronic so I can't blame him one bit. It was out of order jeering him but he shouldn't react. Why the fuck not🤷🏼♂️

Hopefully he has a great season, but I have my doubts He didn't Saturday so he stays in the team he's young, very young for a keeper it's probable he'll iron out the errors If we're running out of money then there other priorities, stick with him
