Vale fans on the pitch celebrating like they've got promoted, ruining Exeters genuine promotion pitch celebrations in the process! 'Small Time'!! Fans always go on the pitch last game. Gillingham were on last week against Rotherham and they got relegated. It's nothing specific to the unwashed there'll be people on pitches up and down the country.

They won't beat Swindon they are bang in form and have come from outside the pack to gatecrash the play offs. Swindon have momentum.

Not as common in fact very rare for away fans to do it tho, usually a home fans thing to do on last game. Had Vale won automatic promotion I get it but not for getting into the playoffs. They were on the pitch away at Hartlepool over Easter with 5 or 6 games still to play so I'd suggest it is a great unwashed thing. Rival fans on the pitch at final whistle is never going to end well is it, a row of stewards pleading both factions to make friends 🤔🙄

I said at the time it’s a seriously dumb move to invade the pitch at away ground and it’s taking liberties - they did it because it’s only gillingham but under the circumstances it was always going to provoke a reaction. Imagine if they did that at somewhere like Millwall on the day millwall were relegated. There would be a riot.

Come on Swindon. Decent sized club, good manager. Should have too much for football's equivalent of 'Half Priced Chocs and Crisps' Shit on the Vale 👍 Swindon right on form, took big following to Walsall today and star player is ex Vale Didn't they just sneak into the play offs? If so they should be buzzing whereas Fail will feel like they've blown automatic promotion, hopefully it'll give them a psychological edge

After Hartlepool you would think they would have learnt, but you can’t teach thick. Sitting here and I’m just wondering if that lot would wish us well in a promotion battle…….seeing them lose in the play off final would be nice. Don't want the fookers anywhere near Wembley, hopefully Swindon give them a fookin whacking... Oh I don't know, when Peter Swan got sent off and West Brom hammered them at Wembley it was fantastic TV 😆

Just don’t understand the small-mindedness on here. I could give a shit about Vale’s fans. I’m delighted for the club - which in case you hadn’t noticed, is located in the Potteries. Their success can only be good for the city, which I would’ve thought anyone brought up here would applaud. An FA Cup win and Stoke not being relegated from the Premier League would've been good for the city.

I was reading there is concerns about their ground. Safety regs reduce the capacity to 14k of which 4k is in the Hamill. They cant open half the mainstand because there is no concourse. Also the Railway stand is on its last legs and needs replacing but there coukd be problems with mineshafts. Add to that the view is shit due to the low rake in 3 of the stands and the pitch is miles away from the stands Woukd guess that the owners income would not be enough to cover all this They were even takking on their message board about a new ground Let's hope they're realistic and build one with a more appropriate capacity. 12,000 is all they need.

That link is confusing. The video below the headline is definitely not from the game; it's clearly a huge city with skyscrapers. Looks more like Buenos Aires than Exeter!

Don't believe everything you read is the lesson here. My mate who you know too was there, he said absolute tripe. There was no fighting whatsoever and if anything was more congratulations to Exeter and applause whilst waiting for the respective teams to come out. However there was trouble in Torquay with Chesterfield but the Talksport report according to him is total fabrication.

They'll have seven thousand empty seats 🤣 Well they'll need a few in reserve for cup ties or playing some of the bigger clubs in League One if they get there. That's all they'll realistically need, that season they nearly made the Championship play offs in the late 90s and there was a buzz about the place they rarely went above 10k, and that was only against us or Wolves. Why rattle around in a semi-detached when a flat would suffice?

Very true but they won't get there they will blow it, I have every confidence in then so a three to four thousand stadium will suffice 😁

Stoke fans wishing vile luck on the radio aaaarrrrrggggghhhhh😣😣😣😣 Have every faith in Swindon. Won 4 in a row and the form team. Nothing not to like. Interesting to see Swindon too had a pitch invasion at Walsall, must be a lower league thing. 3-1 Swindon.

But all clubs have dickheads including us. I don't want other clubs wanting us to stay down due to our idiots. Id rather get rid of the idiots. I'm with sfance on this. I hope they go up and I'm a Stokie.

I just can’t get behind a club that seems to have a disproportionate number of fans who are bitter, hateful and borderline obsessive about celebrating Stoke’s failure - I’d say I know a handful of Vale fans and most of the ones I know enjoy our failure as much as they do their own limited success. It’s not normal.
They were unbearable for a brief spell in the 90’s when they were higher than us - again almost obsessively so - therefore I just can’t get on the ‘good luck Vale’ train I’m afraid.

I hope they lose by a record goals margin for a two legged tie, and it absolutely pisses it down with rain for the entire match tomorrow whilst they're standing on that uncovered end.

I must admit I'm hoping they crash and burn.
I like to see a minimum of 2 divisions of clear blue water between the clubs, preferably 3 divisions:-)
