How do you know they aren’t? I wonder if there’s some kind of “code of conduct” whereby pro snooker players aren’t allowed to play pro pool perhaps🤷🏻♂️ I’ve no idea if any have played both professionally although I’ve got something in my mind Steve Davies went into after snooker🤔 I also have my doubts whether a snooker player could transfer their ability onto a pool table and beat the best, it’s a totally different game really Judd Trump has entered pool tournaments recently and been smashed as soon as he's played a ranked player. As mentioned, many snooker players have won pool tournaments (including in doubles), but I'm not sure if that happens less often for some reason these days? Maybe because the snooker tour has expanded, so there are more tournaments for snooker players to enter - meaning they don't have time to enter pool tournaments as much. In general, snooker players are more likely to beat pool players at pool, than pool players are to beat snooker players at snooker. Here's Ronnie O'Sullivan in his younger days playing one of the all-time pool greats, Earl Strickland, over 3 frames: Ronnie wins. Thanks for posting that, never seen it before, interesting to watch the two standards. At the end the American commentator says "Who would've though O'Sullivan could displace the five time world nine ball champion?" Anyone who knows anything about snooker I'd have thought At one point, O'Sullivan even gives a frame to Strickland by playing the wrong ball next, that's how much he knows about the game and yet still beats him quite comfortably. Perhaps things have changed in the twenty odd years since that was played?

The most interesting thing to ever happen in a snooker match. Unless you’ve got something else up your sleeve with breasts and things🙏🏻

A shame the pigeon didn't appear in Shaun Murphy's match given he never saw a birdy in his golf career.

I'm sure there was a female streaker at a master's final in the 90s. Ronnie v Davis.

Absolutely brilliant semi-final between Mark Williams and Judd Trump. Trump was 9-2 up, and 12-5, but it's 15-15 at the moment. Basically it's come down to a best of three game.
In the other semi O'Sullivan seems to be running away with it 15-9.

I hope he get's to the final although O'Sullivan will probably (unfortunately) just be too good. I really can't stand O'Sullivan or Trump - my two most disliked players in the game. I really hope Williams win's it. Edit - Oh well, looks like Trump v O'Sullivan in the final then. One of those games where I'd like them both to lose if possible.

Not a regular Snooker watcher by any means but tune in for the World Championships and the Masters every year and I love it. Got a feeling Trump will win but hope Ronnie can pull it out of the bag.

I won't be watching it. For me it's the equivalent of an Arsenal v Man U cup final, where I'd like them both to lose.

A cracking start from Trump and O'Sullivan. I wonder if that incident with the white in frame 4 lowered O'Sullivan's average shot time. Early drama.

Shaun Murphy's presenting. How long has he been doing it (hopefully he improves)? And why does Jack Lisowski have a phone in his hand during an interview?

What was Ronnie blarting about at the end of the session? Now 100% sure but he appears to swear again so the ref told him off.

What was Ronnie blarting about at the end of the session? The pundits think the Ref told him off for swearing after he snookered himself behind the blue at the end. He told the Ref, after he had stopped speaking to him, "don't start". He looked pretty annoyed. I think he has some previous with this Ref, though that might apply to every Ref in the game.
