According to both Stoke and Nottingham media it was £300k

Could be correct, media reports at the time of £2.2m could also be.

Joe Allen - I'd like him to stay but I think he will go. Steven Fletcher - I'd like him to stay unless we can sign a skilled tall forward, or keep Afobe. Tommy Smith - keep him but need to sort the position out. James Chester - He will go and I wish him well. Phil Jagielka - Already signed for six months Souttar - Could well go if we get a big offer, hope he stays. Mario Vrancic - Keep but he needs to find his early form Nick Powell - Sadly I think he will go Clucas - I think he will be given a free. He's done OK for us over the seasons Afobe- sadly I think he will go. Fox - At the end of the road with Stoke I don't expect we will sign any if the loanees. Fletcher Smith have already left as had Chester Allen appears almost certainly to leave Afobe has another year of his big contract so highly unlikely to be sold, another loan out presumably Fox and Clucas have another year As far as Fox and Clucas, they can still go on a free or a fee. The others, when did all of that happen. 8 know about Smith.

We have a better RWB out on loan and we’ve played a midfielder there. I think that sums the farce of MON up. Who’s that then? Oh hang on, yeah that kid who’s currently playing in the Irish second division. As for Sparrows performance yesterday, I’m sorry but we would have been better off playing captain Jack Sparrow at right wing back. The kid is 19, first game and you have judged him for his whole career! Give your head a shake.

The fact remains that he was poor and it felt like we were playing with ten men. I gather he was playing out of position, so I’m hoping for better if he gets another chance.

No we weren't playing with 10 men he made a contribution. He hasn't any first team experience give the kid a chance. This is ridiculous.

Why has it been one game when we've had 15 dead rubbers? There's been an ideal opportunity to give him and others a few goes at being involved.

I’m merely giving my opinion of his performance on Saturday, which sadly wasn’t very good. You can’t just praise for the sake of it. I wanted him to do well but he didn’t, simple as that.

Fox surely has to be destined to go? He has been woeful since the day we signed him, slow, meandering centre half turned full back who's passing is awful.

You can’t just praise for the sake of it. I wanted him to do well but he didn’t, simple as that. He's being forced to play there, I've never seen him play there for any u23 game. This preoccupation with making wingbacks out of anybody that can kick a ball is ridiculous Smith McClean now Sparrow. He takes the eye for all the right reasons as a box to box midfielder. Get him a loan in L2 and away from the gaps in the first team for 12 months.

Good news. If we can get someone to take Clucas and Fox in the last year of their contracts, and find a hopefully permanent home for Etebo and Afobe we can start look forwards.......

So no immediate announcement that we've triggered Powell's extra year.
Could indicate we're trying to sort something out on lower terms, either for 12 months or maybe for a longer period?

And nothing on Vrancic.
Maybe he's got an extra year based on games played?

I guess it's hard to commit if nothing has been properly agreed. I'm sure we'll be in negotiations for at least one, if not both of them.

If Allen stays I'll be absolutely livid. Just fuck him off - we've been having the same conversation for half a decade. And we're bottom half of the Championship.

Maybe there's an offer on the table from us - but if it's a choice between us and going home to south Wales, he's going to go there, isn't he?

Pretty disappointing Vrancic is staying. Yeah - I don't think he'll bring much to the table next year. But could be we've got no choice and he's automatically triggered the extra year. You never know though, I saw an interview with him last week where he was saying how much he'd love to play in MLS, especially as one of his good friends is in charge of recruitment at Chicago. Doubt we'd be against letting him go if something like that came up

Allen & Vrancic getting new deals stinks of us constantly handing deals to the likes of Cameron, Johnson etc.
When it was clear it was time for them to go and we just wouldn't. Proves once again lessons still have not been learned.
