Was impressed with how he spoke at the preview evening to be honest, and thought he was by far and away the most polished, assured and confident of the lot.
Was also impressed when he said he'd come and sat incognito with the fans to have a fans eye view of the game last season. Shows a certain level of intelligence that has been sadly lacking in this type of role recently...
The small things off the pitch are definitely starting to improve and that can only be a good thing.
Not sure the manager will appreciate a 'large and vocal crowd' on Saturday if the result goes the wrong way, though... 🤣

Prefer him to Scholes so far.

Comes across more honest and intelligent than Scholes. Although that's not hard, it's a proactive start from the man.

Prefer him to Scholes so far. Even Mrs Scholes probably prefers him to Scholes, to be fair.

His presence is certainly noticeable. The club are even sending us updates now, a small touch but all adds up..... That's really bloody good. Excellent job to all involved!

Its a very different job than his predecessor but everything about the Club has changed for the better off the pitch since January as so many said it would and he's been part of that improvement
The previous ceo did this club untold damage through gross incompetence and arrogance over a sustained period

It certainly sounds like we're finally getting our act together on and off the pitch.
Hopefully exciting times ahead.

There does appear to be a lot of strategic changes in the manner in which the club’s direction appears to provide a more outward, positive and visual direction for supporters.
It’s all change since Scholes left. Coincidental or Reality kicked in with the family?

Maybe I am naive.
I don't get how he can say we are going to spend millions on the ground, the women's team etc
Then someone else says , oh we can't spend millions on the first team, FFP you know?
Surely money is money ?
If we can spend it on the ground, why can't we spend it on a striker ?

There does appear to be a lot of strategic changes in the manner in which the club’s direction appears to provide a more outward, positive and visual direction for supporters. It’s all change since Scholes left. Coincidental or Reality kicked in with the family? I’m not sure if reality has kicked in or not to be honest. I was speaking to someone on the board of Newport County at a bar last night and the first thing he said about football was that it was embarrassing that there were so many owners who were well to do but with no idea how to run a football club. Pulis pretty much took care of everything for a long time. MON seemed to be the next one to do that. Now they’ve finally managed to hire someone in a higher up position who has experience in that position. I’m not sure if it’s reality hitting home or just luck to be honest.
