I was merely addressing your first point……. And I'm merely putting it into context in case you misunderstood my first point.. I understand completely, you said you’d never seen him to resort to insults and I was simply telling you that I have and he has. There was no context at that point……

There is plenty of other things to waste your time on cus he ain’t budging any time soon and why should he. I wasn’t looking for your advice but it’s duly noted……. That’s a shame, you could do with plenty. Maybe look back on your “notes” later ay 😏

And he gives people the courtesy of a reply when they disagree with him. In fact that's probably why he ends up in some protracted debates. I just ignore people who disagree with me ! No you don’t🤣 Unless it's about the (lack of) hearing from our board since Sir Peter hung up his microphone, that one is a bridge I'm willing to die on

Unless it's about the (lack of) hearing from our board since Sir Peter hung up his microphone, that one is a bridge I'm willing to die on Maybe they could put on a skit ala "Are You Being Served?" Some sort of self-deprecating humorous communication disguised as comedy, get the whole family in on the act. Peter could come in at the end and tell us, "You're all doing ....VERY well!" No, I get you on the not hearing part, it hits me as odd after getting used to something at least 2 times a year. But, I'm also not certain what is technically "owed" to fans from these clubs in explanations? It comes down to fan vs. owner opinions, which can vary wildly and widely. Apparently our owners don't feel like they have anything to explain right now? I do, but then again, I can get quite exciteable...

One of the games towards the end of the season where Wilmot got back in the side, MON commented to him “you’ve played well in the middle today” to which Wilmot replied “funny thay considering it’s my position”. I’m not sure exactly what their relationship is like but I know Wilmot hated playing right back and there was a couple of occasions where the club/MON were saying Wilmot was injured or not fit enough to start when he in fact was. It wouldn’t surprise me if he’d be one that was available this summer, I’m not sure there’s a great deal of love between the two. Which I find mad, it’s just bizarre how our best defence was Ostigard, Souttar & Wilmot and MON actively ripped it up and started again in Jan. Where has this MON to Wilmot conversation come from? Wilmot

Your so-called rumours are ten a penny. The Campbell one a couple of seasons back was particularly shit and both Tyrese and his dad put pay to it…….. We were open to selling him. I still don’t think MON rates him. So that's why one of the first things MON did when he came in was to persuade the player who'd decided to leave, to sign a new contract, cos he doesn't rate him?

I mean he had to play him because the other options were Lee Gregory and Sam Vokes. And a new contract could easily have been a club decision. I would hope the club would protect valuable assets like Campbell.

What about someone like Freddie Woodman?
Did a good job as a young keeper at Swansea a couple of years ago.
On loan at Bournemouth last season but didn’t start a game.
Doubt he’ll be getting into the Newcastle team any time soon.

Looking at the Forest squad, makes you realise how important the right loans are. They can really be the core of the team
Garner (who we wanted), Davis (who we wanted), Zinckernagel and Spence were arguably their 4 best players.
And Colwill was one of Huddersfield's stars, and is already being linked with top 6 moves or starting at Chelsea next season

We are yet to manage to sign a starlet from Chelsea, the likes of James, Mount, Tamori, Gallagher, Tammy, Colwill have all starred in the championship, or any of the other big clubs. Instead we get players from Villa (who I do feel could've been excellent with a bit of luck to be fair), Brighton etc. THB came from City obviously but the jury is still out on him.

I'd still like to get Philogene-Bidace. With a full pre-season, I still think he could really add a lot.
There's no way he's going to get a sniff at Villa. It looks like they want to go full Galactico

It looks like they want to go full Galactico Yeah me too, I know Gerrard thanked us for our work with him but you do wonder how keen they would be to send him back give a) we seem pretty set on 3 at the back and b) he spent a lot of time on the bench towards the end of the season when back fit. He definitely offers us something different that we don't really possess within the current squad though and with an injury free season I feel he could make a big impact in this league.

Yeah - depends on what he's got in mind formation-wise. No point if he's going to be a spare part - but he must have intended going with a back 4 when he came in. The injury definitely didn't help him, but he looked a world-beater early on against Huddersfield, Swansea and Forest.

Birmingham Mail Villa reporter puts JPB in the list of players that may leave Villa permanently. Hard to see us being able to do anything permanently - or know what fee Villa would be looking for. www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aston-villa-transfer-news-suarez-24071874Plenty of departures are on the agenda and have been for a while at Bodymoor Heath As mentioned, it appears the same for Sanson (2025) and Hause (2025), while Carney Chukwuemeka (2023), Bertrand Traore (2024) and Jaden Philogene-Bidace (2024) could all realistically call time on their careers in B6.

Nice player on his day good to watch but I don’t think he solves any of our glaring problems. In which case we’re sure to sign him.

That's disappointing news. I think he could be mustard in a 433 but he'll surely cost a few million.
