It'll be interesting to see who Lampard turns to now. Despite him being very overrated he scored them some goals that won't be easily replaced. The obvious choice is Tammy Abraham? £50m for Richarlison is nuts though. Why is it ? He cost Everton 40m has been 1 of their best players and since signing for Everton he's been called up to the Brazil team and scored 14 goals for them. Done well get him for 50m I reckon.

Wasn’t he involved in something like 1/3 of all Everton goals last season? Massive hole to fill in an already shit team. I think so yeah. It's very good money for him though but he do a lot for them. And if they did want Abraham, 1) he'd be mad to move there 2) he'd cost most of the 50m.

Unless Son or Kane are off, where is he going to play? 50 million for a reserve?

I can see him as the Allen replacement, especially as Laurent seems to be more an attacking midfielder than I expected and could be the reason why Vrancic had a change of heart on his extra year. I can see him as LB/LWB and this new lad being back up/competition. Can’t see why we’d move one of our best performers from last season to accommodate an unproven player. Hopefully the new lad will get more chances than Doughty. It didn't sound as if the new boy thought he was coming as back up /competition. It sounded as if the reason he was coming was because he thought he was going to get more playing time. Tymon did cover for Allen in midfield a few times and I vaguely remember MON saying they thought he could end up as a midfield player. I agree with the opinion that Tymon was one of our our better performers last season but his crossing, although sometimes putting in excellent crosses, almost always failed to hit a team mate. I think playing wide also negates his shooting a bit as he has to cut in then is on his weaker foot.

Exactly. 25 (like Jesus) so a perfect age, a goal every 266 minutes in a struggling Everton team where he's often played as a lone striker chasing lost causes or out wide. 36 caps and 14 goals for Brazil as you say as well. With better players around him he'll move up another gear I'm sure of it.........

The issue with Sawyers isn't Sawyers, it's how the manager uses him. As someone to rotate with Powell he's ideal. Play him deeper like the manager wanted to and he was shit. The problem I have with Sawyers in a 10 is that, while he offers a better pass, he doesn’t have the aerial presence and he will flat out refuse to press. We’ve always looked better when playing a high press and you need three players to do that effectively otherwise teams always have an easy out. Ideally, we’d go elsewhere. That said, I wouldn’t be too disappointed with him coming in. Pretty much my issue with him really. For a big lad he doesn't do the physical side of things that well whereas Powell does like to dish it out and I offer more aerial presence sat in my seat in block 29. I'm not overly bothered about us signing him.

Chelsea have a buy back option on Abraham so I wouldn't be surprised to see them activate it next summer if he continues his Roma form.

He had a great return for them, but I suppose that he is only a loan.

Looked quality, he’s was voted best loan signing of last season or something or other on some vote or other. Did look decent though

Champions league for spurs this season though, a lot of rotation needed, they can’t play the same 3 every week, great signing IMO

Kulusevski didn’t really chip in with many goals though. Richarlison, Son and Kane backed up by Moura and the aforementioned Kulu is prettt strong.
