Not on my list of possible destinations. #Worldle #299 1/6 (100%) π©π©π©π©π©π worldle.teuteuf.frTook 2 as I thought the southern boundary was a line of latitude. I take it that this is not one of the countries you have visited on business. It not on my bucket list either! No, never been and no intention to go in the future. Fortunately one of my colleagues had the "pleasure " of dealing with this country - or at least he was responsible for it if any business ever arose which I don't think ever did.

#Worldle #300 1/6 (100%) π©π©π©π©π©π worldle.teuteuf.frI've been several times (through work). I never realised the current population was so large. Just googled it and itβs increased about 350% (I think that's correct) since the 1960's, and is projected to increase at an even faster rate.

It would be on my bucket list but age and infirmity would not allow this. Most African countries have population explosions currently. On a visit to the Gambia a few years ago I was told that there it was possible for a man to have up to 4 wives and "maybe 40 children" I don't think the women have much say in all of this.

Couldn't think of it so used a "similar" shaped marker then used direction and distance. Never been to the country but did land at the main (only ?) airport once en route elsewhere in the region. #Worldle #301 2/6 (100%) π©π©β¬β¬β¬β‘οΈ π©π©π©π©π©π worldle.teuteuf.fr

Does anybody try without using Google Earth or maps and get it right? I don't use Google Earth or maps. I've been interested in geography / maps / countries / flags etc for many years. Today's one was difficult though.

Does anybody try without using Google Earth or maps and get it right? For some reason I thought that would be cheating, but maybe not? Gonna carry on not using maps anyway, occasionally I get it right, and I find it interesting and educational either way

If I canβt spot it first go, I have an educated guess on Google Earth to get a better handle on which area itβs in. Then revert to maps. Learnt that, with some exceptions, most countries with straight borders are African and glacial countries are easier to spot.Occasionally I try and get it without help but it rarely works. Todays (Sunday) was one of the easiest.

That's a fair point you make though, using google earth and maps increases the educational value, so its a good idea when I think about it. Thank you for your service and that's a long time 30 years. One of my uncles was heavyweight boxing champion of the Royal Navy, would've been in the 1960s I'm guessing. Some amazing scenery in the south including a mountain which looks like an enormous church steeple which has been climbed for the first time relatively recently.

Got it in 5 more by luck than good judgement. My 3rd was close and then had a stab from the short list of countries I knew nothing about. By far the most difficult since Mayote.
