Took me a couple of goes to get my bearings then made a wrong choice of its immediate neighbour so took 4. Can't afford to go cruising in that neck of the woods!

How many people actually live there? Officially not a lot but I remember seeing Simon Reeve (I think) visiting a huge "temporary" refugee camp that's been there for years and there doesn't seem to be any sign of anything changing any time soon, if ever.

Find the African countries, with their straight line borders, too easy. Thatβs 3 in 3 days now. I prefer the more obscure Antarctic or Pacific islands.

The President and his entourage booked a suite at Claridges for the London Olympics I am not sure is much has changed since.

Not a clue today. Chose a random slightly similar shape to start. The direction and distance gave me the area, then a bit of thought left me with what I thought must be the answer, which proved correct. I didn't previously realise this country was this shape though. #Worldle #242 2/6 (100%) π©π¨β¬β¬β¬β‘οΈ π©π©π©π©π©π worldle.teuteuf.fr

I hadn't a clue, so..... Using Google maps Paul, starting in Africa and The Middle East, the country having a straight line border.

I had a fair idea which continent we were looking at and then ruled out nearby countries on grounds of shape.

I'm doing it wrong then. My process is See if I know it ( eg Italy) ...have a guess. See if I think I know it .... Have a guess If wrong ....then use the direction and distance hints AND A MAP ...to find the country We had one an obscure Pacific island( I think ) , a couple of weeks ago that None of us seemed to have heard of...I thought that would be impossible without a map. The one ( I think) that Paul refers to, I decided to have a look before having a go. Am I doing it wrong then? Had we not supposed to look at maps at all?
