Don't think I'm giving too much away saying that I hitched my way through this country on ferries, yachts, tramp steamers, canoes and pick up trucks in 1983. Nowadays you can barely go with a military escort, as it's reverted to the not very distant Stone Age . I ran into a tribal war on a rural dirt track, it was amazing how close it was to the football violence of the 70s. For some people here the first time they saw a wheel it was on an aeroplane.
Said it before but this is genuinely mint to get the kids on before school. Mine will guess a random country in a continent they choose then use the countries they've learnt on this so far to guess again following the arrows. When we get close(ish) then fire up a continent map so they can look for the shape.
When a seven year old says 'I think that is Cambodia dad!' as a first guess even if it's 8,000 mile in the opposite direction you're still winning!
