I just suck at island and African shapes apparently. π Agree with you about small island nations in the Western Pacific or Caribbean. I can usually work out more obscure countries by distance and direction from a start point (plus a second guess if needed)

Some parts were lovely, some really interesting, but some were so far behind the times (we went around 2008ish) and extremely poor. Havanna was one of those places that I'm glad I've been to but given the chance wouldn't go again (Venice is similar IMO). Most of the buildings are crumbling and looked as though they should have been condemned. Even though it's one of the most popular images of Cuba, one of the strangest things was seeing all the 50's/60's cars still driving around.

Managed it in 2. Direction and distance from my start point told me roughly where it was, Chose the right one because the surrounding countries have more recognisable outlines. I doubt many Stokies have been there!
