Only one of them will make us money and play at a higher level. He's also better at the moment (with one leg ). So it's a no brainer. No doubt unless Bursik ‘does a Butland’ will make us decent coin, but Davies is slightly ahead this season, there’s just no denying it.

Just looking at the stats for both. Davies: 2.3 saves per game (74%) Passes 59% Bursik: 2.3 saves per game (65%) Passes 71% Similar number of saves inside and outside the box. 1 pen save each. Bursik’s distribution is better but overall it’s not exactly night and day…. 12 games each this season so perfect to compare them currently: Bursik 15 goals conceded 25 saves 62% save% (4th worst in the league) 4 clean sheets Davies 10 goals conceded (5th best in the league, 0.83 GA per game) 27 saves 72% save% 5 clean sheets Not a massive difference but on these stats, Davies edges it. fbref.com/en/comps/10/keepers/Championship-StatsOh dear, those stats have fucked up a few on here's arguments😁

Probably not something he has “earned” this month to be honest. They were all shockingly bad. Must have got it for one good game versus QPR, which is one good game more than anyone else has had in December I suppose.

Didn’t see all the game today but Bonham seemed to deal with everything he had to quite comfortably… the one jittery moment was a mixup for a punch that he’d at least fully committed to but a defender beat him to it. And made a good save first half apparently?
If that’s a fair summary he should start the next league game.

He wasn't bad, but may have been able to judge better if tbeir forwards hadn't been so poor. They had about 4 decent chances in the first half. He did make one decent save.

He made a hash of a nothing chance in the box into the second half where he came to collect and missed a cross that left an empty net open. He made a decent save, but he’s just another error prone goalie. Was not solid enough to displace Davies in my opinion, but was not an abject failure either.

It's true to say we are not blessed with riches in the goalkeeping department, it's a couple of decent performances before the inevitable cockup. Hard to choose who is the least worse.

I honestly only recall the one where the defender headed it away Genuinely surprised by the assessment of him today

Just a kind of 6 out of 10 average performance. Lost a couple in flight as all keepers do and made a couple of decent saves as should be expected. I actually think he’s a decent reserve keeper based on today.

I don't need any stats to know that Davies has performed better in our nets this season than Bursik.
