Yep, Microsoft have just gone and killed Cod and Battlefield straight away by releasing Halo Infinite multiplayer a month early and it’s completely free to play.
26gbs, get it done! The multiplayer test was fantastic, this should be no different. It played on another level to the Cod and Battlefield betas.

Downloading a bit throttled but I’m not suprised massively disappointed in cod online and the campaign was the worst after black ops 3, battlefield is a hot mess but should patch out at some point but it’s pretty unplayable. Unless you go on the portal mode which was basically broken xp farms. Halo is the saviour of my shooters this year hopefully. A shout out to aliens fire team though, as a co-op one time play through it’s the most fun I’ve had in a shooter in a few years, no replay ability though which was a shame. |

Anyone who likes to play small team modes will still play the infinitely better Valorant & CS:GO. If Halo, and Battlefield for that matter, want to remain relevant they need to bring out a Battle Royale. Just been to look on Twitch, the brand new just come out Halo is barely holding off Valorant & Apex already, and it's only a couple of thousand ahead of Fortnite, a game which is 4 years old & whose servers have been offline for a few hours 'cos they're doing an update. I dunno about the end of the week, Halo might become completely irrelevant by the end of the day |

Oh dear, it's not even dinner time & Valorant already has 3-times the viewership that Halo does. Fortnite & CS:GO both have double, and Apex, Battlefield & Warzone have all surpassed it. Seems I was being overly generous in giving it untill the end of the day  |

halo is the only game that tempts me back to xbox, combat evolved was genuinely my first wow moment with a game when you walked out the crashed ship and across the bridge between the two cliffs, at the time it was the most beautiful rendered game ever
had nothing but problems with xbox breakages though, might be i buy a series s when the price drops just to play halo again!
