Remarkable we didn't get a red card after that first half.

Just finished work, in the car, we won!.. Haven't read the thread, tell me we were all over em like a rash. Which sort of rash, one that turns into scabs or puss, or a nasty little rash that itches all over but goes quickly, like falling into nettles, Or both, one in each half.

Far more disciplined second half Never in danger of a red. Can't blame the ref for yellow cards. Second half , yes disciplined and Gave the ref no reason to red card anyone

Blackpool a poor team, poor performance, lucky goal, lucky to not get a red.
Jesus this place 😂
It was a close game won by a moment of dead ball quality by Vrancic. Fletcher using his experience to make sure he is in the right place at the right time.

Only seen the highlights but we look very porous at the back, big gaps and spaces with last ditch defending but hopefully that’s only a small bit, still concerning. Still it’s a good 3 points on the road and gives us something to build from for Luton next.

Having slept on it I think we were fortunate to get 3 points.
Both teams defences were very vulnerable in the first half, but somehow the game got to half-time with no shots on target. Blackpool missed 2 sitters.
Stoke were much the better in the second half, continuing to have more possession, and actually getting some shots off on target. Having said that there was a period when we seemed to go to pieces and looked for aĺl the world that we were going to repeat recent events and hand the opposition 2 points. We survived and Blackpool ran out of steam in the end.

Great result. Confidence building all around. I bet the club is a happier place to be today. Hopefully MoN's learning curve is supported by last night's result

It was only a few short weeks ago we looked brilliant against PNE making goal chances at will, but only came away with the one point. Last night pretty ordinary fare but three points. Football eh?
