They signed the shows death warrant when they got rid of 3 of the panel that made the show what it was. Without Jeff Stelling it'll be unwatchable. Watched it for a bit today, trying to listen to Clinton Morrison tripping over his words every 5 seconds was fucking cringeworthy. It’s on its arse. He is absolutely unbearable. |

Maybe they’ll just play it safe and give it the other guy who fills in when there’s no big games? Exactly Jeff doesn’t do too much opinion just be the moderator of the panel. And he’s brilliant at it. For this reason Sky will go with one of their established presenters. Maybe a woman but a presenter type all the same. As much of an uproar there was when le tiss, Tommyo and champagne Charlie left - they forget that panel was constantly changing. Alan mullery, George best and others have had permanent slots in those chairs. As time moves on you need the current generation of ex pros with more current views. IMO the likes of souness are dinosaurs now. In ten years time we will be sick of Neville and carragher. It might be controversial but I don’t like shoehorning ex woman footballers in these slots just for diversity sake. If they did the same in the woman’s game the women wouldt be happy. Agree with all that except the last part. There are tonnes of men involved in the women's game. Some are good, some are absolute rubbish - same goes for women in the men's game. |

Not surprised to be honest after the show was ruined by the PC brigade.It now just panders to the minority with reporters/presenters who should be nowhere near the program Thought the very same when i tuned in to football focus on bbc this Saturday There was more virtue signalling than actual football Unwatchable I used to love football focus when I was a kid. I hadn't watched it in years but I caught a glimpse of it around 12 months ago and vowed never ever to watch it again. They had an article which ran for around 10 minutes about a female football journalist from the 70's who had a chair pushed into her by a male journalist after a game. It was unreal politically correct clap trap. |

I like Clinton for some reason. Merse was similar when he started which made me grow to like him. It's not 100% serious which adds to the show for me.
