Lose/draw to a team on a 8 match losing streak and its big trouble for Michael.

Fletch will only last 45 min , brown seems undroppable , heart says 2-0 Stoke , head says 1-3 Cardiff

At least Tommy Smith is back. Chester was very poor last week but in the games before that he was solid. We’ll win today. I worry in this formation that Allen and Thompson will be more advanced and therefore not protecting the back four as much, leaving Chester exposed. He was much better against WBA cos Allen and Thompson were closer to him. On the plus side, having Tommy back is a huge lift as he offers a lot down the right. And I hope Sawyers will provide some thrust through the middle.

Come on Stoke - time to stop the rot before things turn toxic…

Would it be outrageous to suggest that the reason Campbell and Sima aren’t staring is because they still aren’t 100% and Vrancic has played an awful lot of most of the games for someone we know isn’t a 90 minuter.
My main concern is Chester and no wingback cover on the bench.

If Sawyers plays as the advanced player, the midfield may work tbf. Would have Vrancic over Sawyers but it seems logical to me. I feel the same. Having Smith in to provide options on both sides should help and I see the logic of having Fletcher - the ball should be more sticky up front with him on. Plenty of options on the bench for when he's blowing out of his arse

Brown/Fletcher up top, not sure of goals there. 2-0 with both of them scoring in 15 mins with their first shots…. This comment hasn’t aged well! ![(lol)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/lvpvZ64EmrkLcuVniUmo.gif)
