Definitely was he also gave Allen and Bauer those new contracts whilst we had no manager. Was Cartwright still involved then maybe it was something he’d been working on. Was something odd with Bauer. Looked a good player and went to every..well many games game...sat upper tier and very passionate. Baffling one Personality clash again with Rowett. Went to Russia didn’t he, wonder if he’s still there.

He’s the guy who goes round the Black Country rating mixed grills, my kids watch him on You Tube. He’s branching out…… Fuckin hell I like a mixed grill better follow him. Trouble is I’m not on Twitter. I was waiting for Elon to take over because he’d said I’d be able to post whatever I wanted without censorship, bastard. You Tube - Matt Cooper Bites, he seems like a nice lad in fairness.......

so more than £1m less than £2m Our sell on fee was high because we accepted a lower fee than we felt he was worth. The sell on fee is a percentage of the full transfer fee and is at least 20%. I was told, by a former Burnley Director, that it was £15m transfer fee and 25% sell on fee + other add ons based around survival, appearances and type of club Burnley sold him on to. Maybe it's a 20% sell on clause to clubs in the premier league and 25% to a big 6 club? Either way, we get more than just our share of the profits! Very nice. Appears Tony Scholes did a decent job on this one. Shocker for Burnley on those numbers, £19m for us and £1.5m for them

I've been told today that Burnley effectively made 2m on Collins which, if true, means we've had somewhere between 3m and 6m on him from the sell on clause.

Thats a real result if that is true Means we would have sold him for 14.5m in the first instance, Burnley to Wolves for 20.5m leaving Stoke 20% of £20.5m (£4.1m) and Burnley £2.0m. All in all Stoke get £18.6m and Burnley £2M Sounds like a good bit of business and well done Scholes I WOULD imagine though that Burnley have some similar sell on clause inserted

That said, Delap has allegedly been to barnfield (their training ground) today. Are Man City giving them these players for nowt because of Kompany?

Sort of Not simply to do him a favour but because they can trust him/they know him This is the advantage big name players becoming managers get (for a year or two) Given his record at Anderlecht jury has to be out on Kompany, he's lucky to get the Burnley job The link with Man City is a huge help for them

I had not realised he was at Brentford untill I watched MOD this morning.
Set me to wondering what's going on with Harry Souter?
