I think I speak on behalf of the board when I congratulate her not only on making the track team, but also on coming in 2nd, in what must have been high level competition. She hopefully has a big future ahead.

Been watching the third series of Clarkson's Farm. Before each episode there's a content warning, usually for bad language. There was one episode that warned of sexual content...it was pigs mating! What the actual fuck is going on?! 😏

Their cars all look shit to me. Plastic, soul-less, over hyped. Not a fan of them myself. Although I have to say I got a ride in one from Schipol Airport so told the taxi driver to give it some hammer as we came off the slip off road out of the airport. Damn they are quick, very very quick👏 😳

Absolute twats. Need running over themselves. Agree. They should be charged for animal cruelty. Also, they shouldn’t be responding to this incident either.

Lived in a village as a kid and overnight a whole herd of cows got out and ran amok all over the village. Gardens totalled all over the village. But not a single cow harmed. Farmer and all the locals rounded em all up calmly. Then me and my brother got the fookin blame for pulling a fence down. I still protesteth my innocence to this very day 😉

WTAF is going on here. Do we not have tranquillisers? Could we not have got a farmer on the scene? Utterly disgusting.

What the actual fuck is going on?! 😏 At the warehouse I worked in back in uni days one of the full time team told me one day he'd worked on a pig farm in his youth. One of his jobs was helping guide the pig's curly pig pidge into the required orifice of the selected partner. Always been suspicious he was taking the piss but bet if he did he'd have had a semi doing it as was defo a strange 'un.

WTAF is going on here. Do we not have tranquillisers? Could we not have got a farmer on the scene? Utterly disgusting. www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cg33v21weg3oUpdate from the farmer Officers who hit an escaped cow with a car "probably did the right thing at the time" according to one union chief and farmer. A video showing a police car hitting the calf on Friday night on a residential street in Staines-upon-Thames caused widespread outrage. Surrey Police confirmed on Sunday the driver of the car had been removed from frontline duties. Hugh Broom, National Farmers' Union's South East livestock chairman, said while he recognised the situation looked "horrendous", officers' options were limited. He told BBC Radio Surrey: "While the whole thing looks horrendous, and it is for everyone, they probably did the right thing at the time." The farmer said other options open to the force may have been shooting it or using a tranquiliser dart, though the latter would need proper training. Mr Broom said: "The other option is you shoot the animal. "In that environment would you want to be using a rifle in a built up area on a dark Friday night?" A cow is seen underneath a police car IMAGE SOURCE, AMARJIT KHARAUD Image caption, A video showed the police car twice hitting the cow On Sunday, the cow's owner said the animal was recovering. And according to a report in The Sun, external the cow was "back on her feet". The force previously said the matter had been referred to its professional standards department, and a voluntary referral would be made to the Independent Office for Police Conduct. Mr Broom added: "God forbid it had gone the other way and the animal ran off and bumped into someone, sent a child flying, sent any person flying, [which is] perfectly possible, and they were seriously injured or worse. "People would be saying: 'Why wasn’t the animal stopped?'" Deputy Chief Constable Nev Kemp previously said police had unsuccessfully tried to contact local vets and identify the owner before the incident. He added: "As well as our overriding duty to protect the public, the welfare of animals is important to us and we know people want answers about how this happened and what led up to it. "I am committed to ensuring that we have a full understanding of what took place and why, and we will fully support any investigation." Mr Broom said the "perfect thing" would be a register of all farmers and animal owners in an area in order to be able to contact people in such a situation.

This was a typical reaction from MSM and those with an anti police agenda. The full story is now emerging regarding lack of tranquilliser dart trained personnel, danger of firing a rifle on a dark night with risk to public and risk to public from the animal itself. I’m really pleased this farmer spoke up and hopefully the witch hunt stops now. Police are forever damned if they do and damned if they don’t. This incident could have been far worse if the cop didn’t take this action and he should be praised that he didn’t kill or do too much harm to the animal with skillful handling of his car.
